Are the Naboo as bad as they seem?

Recommended Posts

"Wookies appear as a fighting force in the tutorial campaign, where players will learn the game's basic mechanics by assuming the role of Chewbacca's father, Attichitcuk. The Wookies also return for the final campaign, in which Chewie must fight to liberate Kashyyyk. OOM-9's efforts to crush the Gungans will be the focus of the trade federation campaign, and the Gungans make a major appearance as well. The Gungan campaign culminates with the clash between the Gungans and the Trade Federation. While the Naboo don't have a full campaign of their own, an RSF division rounds out the playable armies available in Multiplayer and Skirmish modes. -- GB Preview, SW Gamer Magazine

Is this the way it seems? The Naboo are already the underdogs (I don't know anyone who wants to use them) and they don't even have a scenario! :( Any thoughts?

Also could someone explain RSF to me! :D

I really don't like the Naboo, and know of no one that does..

They should have either merged the Naboo and the Gungans into one civ, since they do live on the same planet or picked a whole different civ.

The Naboo are a peaceful people! The Ewoks are more violent then them!!

You've got have the naboo, even if they don't have the campaign. They were in the movie for goodness sake, and they want the civs that are in the movies, not the EU.

Well, I try the Naboo sometime. I like their starships. And thet's true they want civs from the movies. That's why they should use Mon Cal and Trandoshans in the x-pack.

Since they don't have a campaign, thats even more of a reason they should have merged the Gungans with them!

They could have picked the Ewoks instead Tie ;)

NO! No Ewoks, period.

I don't tihkn that a merged naboo/gungans would work either. How would you decide which of the two civs units to use. Or, you would have two of everything.

They would function exactly like a civi, except some would be gungans and others would be the Naboo. It was just an idea.

BTW I'm joking about the Ewoks!! :D

Well they could rearange everything so they are not a Super civi. I know it's not going to happen, I was just stating what I would have done.

I think it would be cool, and very hard to play as the ewoks. :ewok: :ewok: :ewok: :ewok:

I know your not directing the question to me but the thing that turned me away from them is that they have NO starships. They are too primitive to have them :)

There are 6 civs and all of them have a campiagn. "These six campaigns will be split into six missions each, with you controlling the action with six familiar civilizations: the Rebel Alliance, Trade Federation, Gungans, Royal Naboo, Galactic Empire, and everyone's favorite furballs the Wookiees. Well, if you think of it that way, Wookiees shouldn't have been in the game in the first place.

The only Wookiee you see throughout the original trilogy is Chewbacca, and in the prequel you see a one second shot of wookiee senators.. Hardly enough to 'feature' them I'd say..

More likely they went in and thought up the 6 civs that they felt would best suit the game at first.

The civs are right as they are. Mon Calamari should be in the x-pack.

Would you settle for Querren? :)

Well, honestly, I don't know much about the Quarren.

But although many of you have keep saying Mon Cal wouldn't be right. I think they do.

They have starships, they have soldiers, good technology, and a great navy.

But they are part of the Rebels ;)

But really Compa, who else has been saying the MonCals aren't right for a civi? I think it's just me saying it, over, and over and over again :D

Yeah, but trust me, you WON'T SEE a single Mon Cal with the rebels in the game.

Well, I had the impression there had been more people, if it isn't, then you have posted it so many times, it seemed you weren't the only one. :D

BTW, you don't want them just because they're rebels?

Yeah, it's sad. I really like Mon Cals, but I see them as part as the rebels and therefore they can't be a seperate civi.

But since they aren't going to be part of the rebels (in the game), I think you have a good chance of seeing them in the Ex.

I really wish they put aliens in with the rebels. It makes them seem to similar to the imps, without them. :(
