LoNEPiE Posted March 13, 2002 Posted March 13, 2002 Is it just me or is it becoming increasingly more difficult to get to the lucasforums boards? Sometimes I'll get PHP/mySQL errors, and other times, the site will just time out...
Chanke4252 Posted March 13, 2002 Posted March 13, 2002 I noticed that too. I guess their server just sucks really bad, something they need to fix as I can only access the sight about 4 hours out of the day for some reason.

Any chance of you guys resolving these issues? Oh, and I wanted to know about the status of the ads on the side of the page that mess up a thread whenever a pic is posted. I believe I read that you guys needed them up for a while, but may be eventually taking them down. Is that time any closer? For example, this can get slightly annoying.

ChrisC3po Posted March 14, 2002 Posted March 14, 2002 Check out my announcement for details. I think it is safe to say that we'd all rather have the forums up and running smothly then have them crashing every five minutes due to all of the avatars and extremely large sigs.
StormHammer Posted March 15, 2002 Posted March 15, 2002 ChrisC3po...the only problem is that it has not resolved the problem...at least not for some people, including me. I'm still getting the Database Error page (got it earlier on tonight), and a few posts I tried to make didn't get through at all. I had to leave it a few hours again... While removing the sigs/avatars may have helped the situation, I don't think it has resolved it. Just thought I ought to let you know.
