Do you still want a demo?

Well, I've preordered JKII, so a demo would be a bit pointless for me. Having said that, if a demo were to be made, it would be nice if it had a level that did not feature in the full game, so you could play the demo as well as the full game. I liked the way Valve did that with Half-Life...and it would be nice if Raven could do it for JKII.

Right now, though, I think those busy Ravenites need a break, take a holiday, sink a couple of beers, etc... ;)

It's all very well saying that "if you can run Q3, you can run Jedi Outcast", but if you have to turn the detail down so low that it almost looks worse than the original JK, would you really want to bother? Perhaps they'll want to consider saving for some components first, so they can experience the game at it's best. That said, I'd probably buy JO first anyway 'cause it's gonna ROCK, but then, my computer probably won't have any trouble running it as I can run RtCW at 1024x768 with full detail :D .

Still, I'd like to see a demo before the game just to pass the time. I doubt it will happen though, unless they pay a couple of guys major overtime to work on the demo over the next week. As StormHammer said, they've probably all gone on a well deserved holiday anyway.

Yeah, i too would like a demo to test out my computers ability to run it. I don't play QuakeIII, but i did play the demo of MOH:AA, although just barely. I'd just like that extra assurance before i buy it. Plus, it would be really fun to play a demo anyways. Why don't they just realease the E3 one, who cares about changes they made?

Of course, if there isn't a demo i will most likely get the game anyways, but i would feel better about it having played it once.

If you can play Q3 you can't necessarily play JK, Raven has done a lot to the Q3A engine and JK will probabky strain you system much more than Q3 would. However if you can play MOH:AA you're fine it is one of the most graphicly intense games out right now and I have heard some people say it's not even optimized that well though I never had a problem with it.
