Hans The Great Posted April 12, 2002 Posted April 12, 2002 I finished playing the game a few days ago, I like it, the lightsaber moves are pretty cool. Especially when you and your opponent "lock" them together. Nicely done.

Redwing Posted April 13, 2002 Posted April 13, 2002 I don't have the game yet. I need to upgrade (still). But I've heard: Sabers rock in SP, but suck in MP. Guns rock in MP, but suck in SP. Poorly thought out MP Force powers (Light bulb Absorb and Super power Drain) Multiplayer Force-using Rbots suck, but SP Dark Jedi rock. Lightsaber doesn't cast a shadow, doesn't light things up, and sounds like ANH while looking like TPM. Everything else is pretty much totally awesome. I ask, A) Is this stuff true, and B) If so, what were they smoking?
Cmdr. Cracken Posted April 13, 2002 Posted April 13, 2002 In the right hands, Saber in MP can be uber deadly. Rocket and explosive weapons can be pushed back through the Force Push power. There is no better feeling than pushing a rocket back into some gun *****'s face and watch him type in agony. True, absorb shouldn't be seen untill you get HIT with the force, and Drain does need to be toned down. This is why i play saber only, low force. but other wise.. this game kicks heavy ass.
Deac Posted April 13, 2002 Posted April 13, 2002 I thought JK2's multiplayer was vastly inferior to Elite Force. Incidently, I saw some screenshots of Elite Force 2 in this months PC Gamer! IT looks SOOO coool! They've updated the graphics, and bosses now have health meters! But I have to wait a whole year. Well, I've still want Bridge Commander and Knights of the old Republic.
