Nostalgia Time

I got back home for Spring Break at the beginning of this week. In my closet, I found my dusty old Super NES that is now over 10 years old . I decided to hook it up and start playing, and since then I've been playing Mario World and Super Mario All-Stars a whole lot. It sure brings back a lot of memories. Anyone got some SNES stories to tell?

Zombies ate my Neighbors basically owned my brother my neighbor and myself for about four months. It's still a great game. Then there's the Super Star Wars Trilogy..... It' doesn't get much better then that. All those gun uprades were so much fun! And force freeze? How cool was that!

 

I also remember playing Super Mario World for what seemed like forever. It must have taken me two years to get past that infernal game.

Oh yeah, I don't think I beat that game until 2 years after I got it! Actually a few years ago I managed to get through all the exits in the game (96), thus getting a star by my saved game . I really hope it doesn't get wiped .

I was a Genesis child....I have a lot of Sonic stories!...but you probably don't want to hear them.

 

Ooh, I helped a guy play Super Metroid once!

I remember spending countless hours at my friend's house playing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle: Lost in Time...in coop!

 

Oh, and I remember my neighbor going through Starfox in its entirety...while hanging his head upside down and playing like that!

Ahhh...Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles...the glory days of the NES:D

Turtles in Time was great because it told you how long you took to beat it at the very end. Talk about replay value! A friend of mine and myself got it down to under a half-hour once.

Strangely enough, the SNES is the only nintendo console I have never owned.
