Guest King Andrei Posted April 11, 2002 Share Posted April 11, 2002 I've just read the newspaper today and it said that on the 28th of March, in Faisalabad, Pakistan, American commandos made a raid at a location where Osama was suspected to be hiding, only he managed to escape a few hours before the raid began. Well, Osama COULD be just an invention made up by the FBI or CIA (who are probably the REAL ones involved in the attacks and not the arabs). America is just way to patriotic. Besides, it's not the first time Bin Laden has gotten a few freaks to attack America and bomb them. So he's been a wanted man by America for so many years, America wouldn't stoop so low as to kill so many innocent people and destroy probably one of their most famous landmarks. Also I seriously doubt they'd wanna blowup the White House. I don't think its just to sell papers, they would be given evidence supporting these headlines by the government/military to keep people at home believing that the mission is worthwhile and is still producing success. Remember what happened in the US with Vietnam (war protests throughout the country). They do not want that to happen again. I dont believe for a second that the CIA did this, what I believe though, is that we do need to question the sources that give us our information. I don't think the CIA created them for their own amusement. I mean, thousands of people died in OUR country. Does that sound like something the CIA would do to its country? Then the government would finance their counter-terrorism plans but instead of using the money for that, they just keep it for themselves. (or something like that, I dunno!) The most unstable region of the world, in the eyes of the Western world, is the Middle East. If the US went in guns blazing pre sept 11th there would be uproar. The UN & EU and many other countries/groups would condemn them. Now, post sept 11th, the US is pretty much waging war with any country that poses any kind of threat to them (Iran, Iraq, North Korea, China, Russia, Afghanistan). And they get away with it even though they have caused so many of the problems e.g selling weapons, CIA training soldiers etc. I still dont belive for a second they staged it, yet I firmly believe that the US government are a disgrace. Sheeeesh I don't wanna come across as racist, but most of these countries are war-loving idiots. Pakistan-India (been going on for sometime dunno what about, probably over who is the most horny and better at sex- sheeeesh they're horny buggers and won't be surprised if they nuke each other before too long) Isreal-Palestine (all over a pice of land, ok I know it's sacred to some people but sheeeesh) Afghanastan (had a screwed up taliban government and also kept safe one of the worlds most wanted/dangerous men) Iran/Iraq and whoever else (the gulf war) I'm sure there's plenty of other countries who are arguing with each other but not on the scale of the above situations. Sometimes I wonder if these countries have anything better to do than start wars? bloody hell. I also don't mind people being religious, but come off it, there's a point where it becomes literally obsessive and cult-like. Do you know WHY they flew the planes into the WTC and Pentagon? Other than to kill thousands of innocent people for well no particular reason (ok so they didn't like America. What do they want? A medal?) is because in their religion they're promised heaps of stuff if they do this sort of thing and take their own life. I can't remember the exact figures, but something along the lines of... Spending the afterlife in paradise with.... *70 of the worlds most beautiful virgins *50people from your family (that's why they ain't upset when one of their relatives blows him or herself up they're going to paradise) There's more to it, and I posted exactly what it was a few days after the terrorist attacks last year. He or she also has very little to do with the fact that these weapons are given. But there aren't many who weren't affected either emotionally or immediately by these attacks. So it may seem that "America" is giving them weapons then whining about the consequences, but most of us don't have a lot of control about what's going on, and just need to voice opinions. Then again, that's one thing we have a whooooole lot of, opinions... it's easy to seem hypocritical when there are so many dissenting ones. Also the Americans have been helping the Israel with stuff and that's probably one of the reasons the arabs hate them so much. I also heard that the arabs have this strange concept: "If it's not in the Koran then it's against our religion." or something like that. Incase your forgetting, the whole reason for the attacks was because of the disagreement between both sides. Thats not to say 'all' of the arabs were involved with the attacks, but there were not many in Afganistan that felt sorry for the USA afterwards were there? Natty Posted April 15, 2002 Share Posted April 15, 2002 I was watching a TV report on 60minutes last night about the Palestine/Isreal war thingie and it had an interview with a group of Isreal and Palestine kids and they all met up and played with each other, it was really sweet. Anyways the interviewer went back to see these kids who are now grown up and everything. The Isreal children said they would love to see the Palestine girl again and just talk to her and say they're sorry they don't like what's going on blah blah blah blah. When they interviewed the Palestine girl she had changed so much, she believes all Isrealies are evil, she cheers everytime there's a report they've been killed and she wants to be a suicide bomber herself just so she can defend her country.
