manny_c444 Posted May 16, 2002 Posted May 16, 2002 If not I'm getting a PS2...I've waited long enough for Tim Schafer to announce an awesome adventure for the Xbox, but it looks like it won't happen.
Remi Posted May 16, 2002 Posted May 16, 2002 From what I've heard DF will be at E3. If their game will be announced or not, I have no idea.
guybrush guy Posted May 16, 2002 Posted May 16, 2002 what is DoubleFine? is it a new game if so is there a screen shots someware
Remi Posted May 16, 2002 Posted May 16, 2002 Double Fine is Tim Schafer's new company. And yes, they are developing a game which will be Xbox exclusive. This is all I know.
guybrush guy Posted May 16, 2002 Posted May 16, 2002 does he have an official website or anything at all because i tryed searching and i found was a picture of a sign that said doublefine
manny_c444 Posted May 16, 2002 Author Posted May 16, 2002 Yes, thats the official site. Pretty ****ty eh?
Jake Posted May 16, 2002 Posted May 16, 2002 They haven't announced anything. Wait until after E3, something better should be up. As far as we know, Double Fine will be showing their game at the Microsoft booth at E3. Whether or not it's an adventure game (well, adventure game as we know them) is unknown. It's probably not another Grim, engine-wise. Schafer has been quoted saying its "completely different" from his other work.
RappScallion Posted May 21, 2002 Posted May 21, 2002 Psychonauts While kicking it at psychic summer camp, Raz comes across a dastardly plot. Children are being kidnapped and their brains stolen. Yoink! To solve the case, Raz must leap into the minds of others, battling their nightmares. Though the title won't hit stores for a while, it already shows serious promise. Created by Tim Schafer, Psychonauts promises to offer striking visuals and unique gameplay. http://xbox.ign.com/articles/360/360059p1.html
manny_c444 Posted May 22, 2002 Author Posted May 22, 2002 I guess Xbox needs a platformer, but Sly Cooper: Thievies Racoonis looks cooler than this.
Remi Posted May 22, 2002 Posted May 22, 2002 It doesn't look quite as bizarre though, which is what makes Psychonauts interesting to me. Bizarre = good.
