Andrei Posted May 23, 2002 Posted May 23, 2002 http://ps2.ign.com/articles/360/360281p1.html Can other classics be far behind?
Zindell Posted June 19, 2002 Posted June 19, 2002 in case you werent aware sam and max 2 for XBOX. So i for one will probably never play it
mxbx Posted June 19, 2002 Posted June 19, 2002 and Psychonauts for X-Box, but I don't think FT2 will be PS2 exclusive. Or do I? hmmm......
Jake Posted June 20, 2002 Posted June 20, 2002 FTII is for "Next generation consoles and PC" said the press release, and Simon Jeffery in our interview with him
sam&maxballa629 Posted June 23, 2002 Posted June 23, 2002 yeah a couple sites said its gonna be for the ps2. i heard somewhere there would be a sequel to day of the tentacle. i really doubt it though. *BEEFLOF BEEFLOG WHAT A TREAT...*
Jake Posted June 23, 2002 Posted June 23, 2002 Yeah, rumor on FT2 has been "PlayStation 2" for like over a year - but note that over a year ago PS2 was the only next-gen system that was actually out. LucasArts very rarely releases things for one system, especially things that aren't tied down by multiplayer and whatnot. And I don't know if it was ever confirmed that Sam & Max 2 was going to be XBox exclusive back when someone might have been working on it... Isaac seemed to know everything about that.
iisaac Posted June 24, 2002 Posted June 24, 2002 The site says Sam & Max 2 is for consoles. A friend of Justin Chin said the team has been working on a PC version. I say there's barely anyone left to do any work. If we could get Steve to issue a press release, we'd know whether we should invest in stocks for the upcoming videogame and comic book. But there are no such stocks. It looks like there are no greedy pigs out to make money off of cheap sequels to Steve's work. We might have to be content with the old Sam & Max merchandise we already own, or apply our time and resources to something else. Look for the complimentary poll in this very forum!
SyntheticGerbil Posted June 24, 2002 Posted June 24, 2002 Does this mean someone is actually working on the game, Isaac?
Jake Posted June 24, 2002 Posted June 24, 2002 i doubt anyone is doing any serious work until a publisher picks up any game of theirs and funds them, or they all leave and get new jobs.
Skinkie Posted June 24, 2002 Posted June 24, 2002 Maybe if we all send them 5 bucks it'll be good incentive!
YTtheMighty Posted June 25, 2002 Posted June 25, 2002 maybe the CIA is covering up the project because Steve's aliens are modeled after real ones recovered from Roswell, NM... or maybe I need some coffee...
