The Seeker
The candidates are Medal of Honor: Allied Assault, and that new spiderman game. Both look like they would be fun, and I might just get both of them, but I need to know what you guys think of them first. So, could you please let me know if they are good/bad and what makes them good/bad. I don't play multiplayer, so if that is a major problem for you in the games, it won't be for me. So, let's hear it. what is it that makes or breaks these games?
striderx2048
mohaa is good but have a high end processor to play spiderman is good expect for camera angle problems
The Seeker
my system speed is no problem, so what didn't you like about the games.
striderx2048
bad things mohaa, needed a high end processor spiderman, bad auto camera angles, i.e. you have to manually adjust it
The Seeker
So, how distracting is the camera angle thing?
RobKerwin
Definitely get Medal of Honor 'cuz it's got guns Seriously, it looks real challenging, while Spiderman, well, you just fight a super villain and there's not much else, except maybe saving ppl. acdcfanbill
mohaa was ok IMHO, but at times it just annoied the hell out of me... since all you play is SP, i have to warn you, i didnt think the SP was all that great... not bad, but not the best... The Seeker
I'm a relatively newbie when it comes to cutting edge games. I only recently got a system that could handle them. Now, I want some new games beside jedi outcast, and I want to have fun with them. They can't have blood or gore or anything, so that is why medal of honor was my first choice. So, is it worth the forty bucks, or should I wait for a price drop? Or just disregard it altogether? Btw, you have any good game suggestions? As I said, preferably a teen rating with no blood. Swearing is fine, but no blood. So, is moh:aa worth the cash, and what else do you suggest? Thanks
c.d.
MOHAA is a really good game for sp i thought, can be very difficult at times, but well worth it. Such as the Ohmaha beach map..... play that on hard and you will be trying to get out of the boat for an hour. Save your money up for unreal 2, OH YEA and buy GTA3 for pc, well worth it imho. Pedantic
Why no blood, if you don't mind me asking?
The Seeker
it's my parents house here with my parents rules. As long as I live here, i'll respect their wishes and whims over the content of games. So naturally my gaming choices are limited, but with as long as LEC makes good games and there are a few like Medal of Honor, I'll be fine. And thanks for the feedback. I'll go ahead and try moh:aa. It looks pretty cool, and you haven't said anything overly disuading, so I'll go for it. Still, keep other suggestions coming though. Thanks. Mobius47
get half-life, the best game ever its not that bad gore wise blood plus the word "hell" and a few guns earned an "M" in 1998, now it would only earn a "T" rating (gamespot screensots for this game are from user made mods, not the actual game, that is why it looks like a mixture of harry potter and doom on the website ) if your parents censor gore and language and you are over 13, then we have a problem but, if they dont let you get GTA then that is good, because that game has a lot of sexual content, cruelty and mild torture toward POLICE OFFICERS, extreme drug content, and a lot of other crap I wont let me play that game cuz its so bad and sacrifices gameplay for sex and violence furthermore, i get my game reviews from gamespot their reviews are the best unfortunately, the ran out of $$$ and they now charge $20 a year, which pays for itself in crappy games it prevented you from buying the site is: http://www.gamespot.com
Mobius47
btw, MoH:AA feels quite flat the guns have no feeling play it and you will know what i mean (and their mouths dont move when they talk, they look like their trying to move lips that are sewn together in the middle )
techsurfer
MoH is pretty easy apart from the Omaha Beach in the Hardest setting. Nothing new really! Spiderman's pretty fun but has little depth. Both of them good games but nothing brilliant (i mean nothing really new added to the games market just more of the same but in a different setting)

The Seeker
Well, I got it today, and so far, I am pretty impressed with it. As I said, I am very new to new games, so same to you is new to me. It's holding my interest so far, and has just gotten better.
Phillio
My parents have many restrictions on me too. (I am 13) I can't see games with blood or movies with blood. I can't do anything that has to do with GTA. I can't go on chat rooms or do MP with others. There's more but I won't go into it all. Anyway, I would go with Medal of Honor also. txa1265
I tried the Spidey demo, but the control schemes I didn't like. It also isn't really the type of game I like. All-in-all, it was too hard to share with my kids (4 and 5.5) and not anything I liked. I'll play Harry Potter with them ... As for MohAA, you have it now, but I definitely think it is a good game. I've not really replayed it, and have no interest in the mujltiplayer, but it was decent. About even for me with Return to Castle Wolfenstein (appropriately rated M). Neither one touches JKII, IMO. I'm playing Soldier of Fortune II right now ... that game is more like M++!! OK, so I have super-gore enabled. The story and maps are OK, below the RtCW/MoHAA/JKII par, but in terms of gun control it is really cool. You definitely get into moving your 'body', taking head shots, and so on. I recommend that game for the mature set ... not as good as JKII, but if you like FPS, you'll enjoy it. Mike
Skidrowpunk
Yeah, SOF2 is great, but , seeing as how you can blow people's foreheads off, i don't think he's gonna be getting it in the near future.
SPY_jmr1
In SOFII the gore and blood CAN be turned off you know.... if you wanna try it, go nab the demo.... it is stuck on blood off.
Sol Sixxa
spider man is a great game graphically but it really has nothing to do with spiderman besides hes the main character. all the characters have diffrent names and the camera angle is horrible @ times. metal of hounor is a great game and i would recomend it to n e one:bdroid1:

The Seeker
Whoa whoa, back up. You can turn off the blood/gore in sofII? Like where it is completely off like in MOA:AA. Is it an ingame option, or do I like have to go into the base directory and everything? Please tell me cause, SOF II looks awsome.
