talldudeX Posted June 10, 2002 Posted June 10, 2002 It would be interesting if they came out with a 7,8 and 9 series.
xX-Ender-Xx Posted June 10, 2002 Author Posted June 10, 2002 Lucas will probably die before that anyway....
xX-Ender-Xx Posted June 11, 2002 Author Posted June 11, 2002 That's right... Im going to see the first movie of the trilogy today, my friend brought it to school, im so exited... :D
talldudeX Posted June 12, 2002 Posted June 12, 2002 Well that's good...but what, you're still in school? Goodness, the humanity...
xX-Ender-Xx Posted June 12, 2002 Author Posted June 12, 2002 We get out the 19th. I finally saw Episode 4 and 5 and im going to watch 6 tomorrow. I hope this one is the best. I thought the battle with vader and luke in ESB was pretty good and very emotional how he was his father. If you were fighting your FATHER and he asked you to join him knowing that you would win the war if you did...would you? I would...
talldudeX Posted June 13, 2002 Posted June 13, 2002 Er...I don't often listen my dad. But just to imagine that! LOL
xX-Ender-Xx Posted June 13, 2002 Author Posted June 13, 2002 LOL, so you would just be like, "no i dont want to, **ck you" I still would, just because the dark side is stronger...
Jared Posted June 13, 2002 Posted June 13, 2002 No the light side is. Vader was weak and besides when you die on the light side you are a spirit and on the dark side you are gone forever, I think:D
xX-Ender-Xx Posted June 13, 2002 Author Posted June 13, 2002 That's not true, Vader was on the dark side and when he died he became a spirit. How come when yoda and obi-wan died, they dissapeared, and when vader died, he didn't so they burned him?
Cmdr. Cracken Posted June 13, 2002 Posted June 13, 2002 Vader turned from the Dark Side when he saved his son from the Emperor's lightning and threw him down the shaft. therefore, he became Mr. Ghost. I think the dissapearing thing is a special technique taight to Jedi. probably Anakin never was far enough in his training to be taught the skill before he turned.
Redwing Posted June 14, 2002 Posted June 14, 2002 Lucas said he'll explain in Ep 3. We don't know yet...
Wraith 8 Posted June 14, 2002 Posted June 14, 2002 well.. my theory... is.. you only disapear.. when you let it happen like Obi wan and Yoda.. they knew they were at the end.. so they let it happen. theothers were all killed by somehting... qui gon and anakin.... and when their bodies get burned.. they can apear in ghost form just a theory -Wraith 8-
talldudeX Posted June 14, 2002 Posted June 14, 2002 Who'd of thought that little Anneken Skywalker would grow up to be a guy with a voice very similar to the bell atlantic guy's.
xX-Ender-Xx Posted June 14, 2002 Author Posted June 14, 2002 How did anakin get so dang....um....how should i say...Mechanical? He's all machine when he's vader...how did that happen?
talldudeX Posted June 14, 2002 Posted June 14, 2002 Well it probably happened mostly in battle, but we know his arm became mechanical when it was chopped off by Dooku in Epidsode II.

Luke burned Vader's empty armor suit for the burning ritual. The reason for Qui-Gon's non-disappearance will be explained in Episode 3.
Cmdr. Cracken Posted June 15, 2002 Posted June 15, 2002 It's a Jedi technique, only learned when you are really frickin good, and have time to contemplate, and concentrate. Obi-Wan in Eps. 4? Watchit, he holds up his saber can closes his eyes. Vader? ehhh... maybe. i don't think he could considering the incredible PAIN HE WAS IN. Yoda could do it because he's just that good.
Redwing Posted June 15, 2002 Posted June 15, 2002 No. Lucas said that Vader disappeared offscreen. He also said he was going to explain why Qui-Gon didn't pull a disappearing act at the end of Episode One...it's supposed to have some significance, I guess, to Episode Three. (At the very least, the mechanics of it will be made clear.)
legameboy Posted June 15, 2002 Posted June 15, 2002 I love watching all the Star Wars movies, I've probobly seen them 15-20 times each. But my favorite is Episode II, where Yoda and Count Dooku duel . Then my second favorite is Episode I, in Duel of the Fates . Then my third favorite is Episode VI, where Luke fights against Vader .
talldudeX Posted June 17, 2002 Posted June 17, 2002 Can't wait for Epidsode III! After comes out I'm going to spend a day watching all of them in order... :D
