Wacky_Baccy
Posted by talldudeX Well, what was it about...? ... From Ender.com (courtesy of Google - try it some time ) "Ender's Game is a science fiction novel that tells the story of Andrew Wiggin (nicknamed Ender by his sister, Valentine.) The story takes place on Earth in the future. Earth has been attacked twice by an alien species called Buggers, nearly destroying the human race. Mankind begins training young geniuses to become soldiers and commanders to fight in Earth's defence if the Buggers should ever attack again. Ender is extremely intelligent, and at the age of six years old, he goes to Battle School to be trained. Ender quickly rises to the top in Battle School and begins training in order to command Earth's fleet." "Buggers" LMAO!!! I think I might just read that book
Rogue Nine
I liked Jane Eyre, The Joy Luck Club, Fallen Angels, Watership Down, The Clan of the Cave Bear, A Man For All Seasons and the Lords of Discipline during my tenure in high school. All other books were crap.
talldudeX
Hm...interesting...and you say you read this book in school? All we ever read are books like "To kill a Mockingbird" and "The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn". Blast that school system...
edlib
I got to read 'Catch-22', 'One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest', 'Cat's Cradle', and 'Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy' for school projects. There were others, but those are the ones I remember and have read again. I'm re-reading 'Catch-22' right now, and another Vonegut novel called 'Breakfast of Champions'. I just finished reading 'The Salmon of Doubt' which is the book Douglas Adams (Hitchhiker's Guide) was working on when he died. It would have been great. talldudeX
The Breakfast of Champions...a book, a cereal, and who knows what else. I actually haven't read in a long time. If we had to read for school I like to print out study guides for answers. The most recent book I read by choice was a goosebumps book in 4th grade I think...and I used to skip pages a lot too. So there were few books I ever completely finished.

Rogue Nine
I can read pretty much any book I can get. Just recently I finished Neal Stephenson's Snow Crash, Cervantes' Don Quixote and Chuck Palahniuk's Fight Club, upon which the movie of the same name is based. Reading is a great hobby to unwind with.

xX-Ender-Xx
It's about some Buggers who attacked Earth in the past and how Earth is preparing LITTLE troops to stop them next time they attack... They come across a boy name Andrew Wiggin (aka : Ender... He was named by his sister valentine). He is brought to battle school and eventually becomes the best soldier there. At the battle school they have a game that everyone plays, you have an army and you go against another army in NULL gravity with freezing guns... Ender became the best with the best scores ever... I'll leave the rest for you to read if you want
talldudeX
Whoops, thought it was a different one...heheh. Oh well, I'll have to read it sometime. I used to read animorphs all the time too, that wasn't too bad of a series.
Rogue Nine
The Harry Potter series has got to be the easiest set of books to get through. I went through the whoel series in two days. Still waiting on Year Five. Rainbow Six was fun as hell to read. Don't let the large size scare you.

Rogue Nine
That's what started the whole counter-terrorist craze. CS is probably an indirect result of that. Though sometimes I find myself loading up Rainbow Six again, just for kicks.

TheMadDoofer
I just finished reading 'The Salmon of Doubt' which is the book Douglas Adams (Hitchhiker's Guide) was working on when he died. It would have been great. I just finished that book too. It was great, but depressing to see what would have come if Adams had not died at an early age. He was my favorite author!
