Dough with Fish
Lets see... what do I listen to these days... Theres Tool, Deadsy, Orgy, Coal Chamber, Static-X, Hatebreed, Nine Inch Nails, Korn, Rob Zombie/White Zombie, Disturbed, RATM, Sinistar, Anti-Flag, A Perfect Circle and Manson. I think thats it.... And on a side note, who else here can hardly wait for Maynards and Trents Tapeworm project??? While Godsmack is AWOL at the moment, I have a bit of good news for you all. First off, Rage Against the Machine is back togther with a new lead singer, I think its the dude from Soundgarden, however their not going to be called RATM anymore because Zach (the former lead singer and the one who left) owned the rights to the name, so now they are calling themselves Citizen. And secondly, Powerman 5000 is back in business, they just re-formed not that long ago. Thirdly, for all you other Orgy fans out there, they have just started on a new album, and last I heard, its shooting for a Spring 2003 release. DemonKing
Gotta admit I still think The Cult is the greatest thing on the planet, even though I'm not so sure they should have got back together - the initial breakup was so rock and roll/Spinal Tap. I have a feeling I might be getting into Tenacious D shortly though. I haven't purchased a music CD for over a year. It's too easy to download what I want off the net these days. Dough with Fish
No offense or anything but everything Tool does sounds the same Igor, some of their songs sound the same, I'll give you that, however thats only a select few. But go back and listen to their stuff off Undertow and Opiate, and compare it to what you hear on Aenema and Lateralus. I think you'll find quite a difference in their sound and how the evolved over the years. But the main reason I LOVE Tool is because they are such an awsome band live. Man, talk about a surreal expierience... I suggest that if anyone out there gets a chance to see them live, go do it. Trust me, you won't regret it.
