NemoX
From what i gather Jedi are not supposed to get married but Anakin and Padme got married at the end of ep 2. My question is since he broke his commitment to the Jedi order by getting married will the council decide to kick him out of the order even though he is the chosen one who will bring balance to the force or will they make an exception in his case? DannyJAllTheWay
I'll bet they would kick him cuz he broke the rules and they knew that if they were found out that they would get in trouble.
Vestril
Well I'm sure they would be very very grumpy...the Council might find out in the 3, which could be one of the things that leads Anakin to Sidious (though he alread has chats with him...) RichDiesal
I think the Jedi will likely be on a razor thin edge. 1) They know that Anakin will somehow bring balance to the Force (though they don't know how exactly) and 2) They have codes of conduct that have existed for a millenium. Likely they will Anakin to anull his marriage and isolate him from Padme, which will cause him to hate his Jedi Masters even more and giving a window for Sidious to lure him to the dark side where he can have "real power"... Methedrine
I think that it is entirely possible that it wasn't Anakin who was going to bring balance to the force but Luke. Any other thoughts anyone?
Wraith 8
nope.. it was vader alright i mean.. who killed the last sith lord in the galaxy? it was vader who killed the emperor... so he brought balance to the force..... -Wraith 8-

Kryllith
I see it a different way. Hundreds (or thousands) of Jedi, only a couple of Sith... who do you kill off to balance it out? Kryllith

There are alot of gueses as to how it is ballanced, but there isnt a definate asnwer as of yet. Perhaps Lucas used the wrong term at first. He probably meant. The one who will eliminate the dark side or evil.
ET Warrior
Well, it doesn't matter if Balance means same number of Jedi as Sith, or no more Sith left, Vader did em both! :D :D I think by balance they mean no more Siths in the galaxy, because i think Sith throw off the balance of the force....because there is always Evil in the galaxy, which is why the Jedi are there, to stop the Evil....but Sith weigh the scales in favor of the evil, disrupting the balance of the force. MotionMan
It also seems that Sith lords are a bit more powerfull than Jedi's. They seem to abuse the force to its full potencial. They dont hold back.
ET Warrior
Right, and it's Easier to use the Dark Side, takes less discipline. I think that the dark side is more powerful, but the price you pay for using it is that it destroys you. Palpatine is already showing signs of aging very rapidly in ep 2.....and we know by ep 6 he is all scarred and old
XtremeForce
My opinion: He broke the Commeitment to the Jedi, but, heres the question. Does it really matter? He turns to the dark Side in the next movie anyway. So as far as im concerned it dosen't matter. Anyway, he will bring balacne to the force, just a bad one, either way i don't know if he would get kicked.
MotionMan
I actually think that Palpatines use of the force has made him live longer. I mean he was about 55+ maybe 60 in Ep.2. Using the force constantly like Jedi or sith do, may somehow increases your lifespan. Like Yoda's race may live up to 700 or 800, but as a force user he lived to be 900. ET Warrior
of COURSE it matters! We are Star Wars geeks..well at least some of us........and we have an entire 3 years until we'll find out what will happen! It's very important for us to try to think that we know whats going to happen, or at least to talk about it.
XtremeForce
I never said it didn't matter what was going to happen, im saying we know what's going to happen, just dont know how. Anakin will turn to the dark side and that's just about all we know.

He broke the Commeitment to the Jedi, but, heres the question. Does it really matter? And in response to Motion man....it may extend his life...but it destroys his body....that's what i was meaning to say.

leXX
To answer the original post, this is what I think will happen in Episode 3: I think the council will find out about the wedding and ban Anakin from seeing Padime and hide her away somewhere. This leads to his eventual cross over to the dark side because he loves Padime so much, he can't bear to be without her. He blames the Jedi Order and vows to get his revenge. Palpatine see's what's happening and converts Anakin to the Dark side. Padime gives birth to twins (leia and luke) and Obi Wan helps Padime hide them from Anakin because he has already turned bad. Anakin kills off all the Jedi apart from Obi Wan and Yoda who are smart enough to hide from him. All great stories are based around a love story and good vs evil!
