Yes. That is correct. Without any of us even realising it, and before George Lucas even had a single member of staff, someone invented the internet nigh on 30 years early, and set up this web site. Thats a pretty hardcore fanbase, don't you reckon?

However, the site founder (I only assume, as he was the first) a mr 'wjg regs' has only posted 8 times in 33 years. Thats shocking.

...or the forum simply failed to record when those people joined and set their join time as '0'. Time as computers know it began on 1st January 1970.

My guess is that they're users who were imported from another bulletin board system that doesn't support join dates. When LucasForums started we imported lots of forums from all over the place and most weren't vBulletin.
