txa1265
I'm old enough to have been in high school playing Castle Wolfenstein ... NO, not that one (Wolf 3D), the original one on an Apple ][+. I am now a Principal Optical Scientist at 36, have wife, 2 kids (4 and 5.5) house, the whole deal ... and a cool new Dell Inspiron 8200 (GeForce4!) laptop (replaced my 8100) and I'm loving JKII yet another time ... I was 11 when Star Wars came out (ANH? Huh? How REVISIONIST ), saw it and TESB and ROTJ several times each - oh the Vader is Luke's father angst! - and it is true that the opening with the Star Destroyer hit me like few things in film ... BTW - AotC is my 2nd fave, narrowly missing TESB. Mike

Faye Ying
Originally posted by Aoshi Faye, unfortunately I made a 2.4 my Freshman year, however, it was still the greatest year of my life. I met my girlfriend that i've been dating for eight months, got laid constantly and consistantly, hit up the fraternities for all they were worth (sororities too), and got so wasted i completely blacked out on many an occasion (almost got hit by a bus too). All in all i would do it all over again... well maybe not get drunk as much as i did... but other than that. . what kind of scale do the college's in the states run on? here they run on a 9 point scale. i got a 3.x not enough.... so now i gotta spend time fixing my mistakes -________-;; you seemed to have gotten alot into the "scene". for me, it was bascially, me, myself, the computer, and cars. and a few others like me. sure, we get out, but none of us have girlfreinds, etc. all we do is take cars out a night and screw around. pull stunts around town, drift in and out of streets, etc. its a waste of gas and tires. and also, with a attitude like mines, idon't think i'll be getting a girlfriend anytime soon. "when i get my sportbike, i'll get a carbon fibre tail peice in the first week. so i save about 1 to 2lbs, and i don't need to bother with a passenger. theres only gonna be a 10" by 10" padded area on the bike left, and its reserved for my ass only." if i find a gf, i'll see what happens hahaha and yo uprobably wont' beleive me, but i haven't touched alcohol yet unless you count those fruit coolers or something haha

bar-bar mandrel
31 I saw Star Wars (or "new hope" as you all insist on calling it) 11 times in the theater when it was released. And based upon the story innacuracies between then and now, i'd say that was 10 times more than Mr. Lucas

You could be talking about any of the Star Wars movies. Also, what a really funny, intelligent observation. Why don't you compare it to one of the other Trilogies that has Zero inaccuracies. Or one of the multiple trilogy storylines. What's that? You can't think of other trilogies that were followed up with a second trilogy almost 20 years later? Hrmm...interesting. I guess it might be hard to make sure that everything streamlines perfectly...
