Lynk Former
I've seen an ad on ign.com of their private message boards which goes === James: So who's played that new game on the Dreamcast? It rocks! Dan: I agree James: Yeah it's got some cool graphics Dan: I agree Brent: What about the sound quality? Dan: I agree James: You're an idiot Dan: I agree === Hmmmmmz
Redwing
It's too bad R15 isn't here...he knows some great ads.
talldudeX
Oh, me and Cal both know about these: Ad software. It could be on anyones computer because it downloads to computer from cookies and installs it self and causes pop ads and slows down the connection. Very annoying. Cal_da_Darth
Yeah, and you know you have it, especially when your browsing the RSN forums and a porno ad pops up! :rolleyess
edlib
Get AdAware 5.83, kids: http://www.lavasoftusa.com/ Kills all the Spy-, Junk, and Ad-ware that installs itself to your PC. No more unexpected pop-ups or your personal surfing information being sent out. If you are connected to the net you MUST have this program! Oh, and it's free. Other good (free) ones: webwasher Pop-Up Stopper AdSubtract SE And get yourselves a firewall: ZoneAlarm Free Oh, and keep your virus definitions up-to-date and use the scanner at least one a week: AVG Free Anti-Virus And delete you cookies once in a while. http://www.karenware.com/powertools/ptcookie.asp THEN you can surf the net. Cal_da_Darth
I actually do all of that very often...you took the words right out of my mouth. One thing you forgot, though...a firewall is always helpful, and if you have two or more computers networked, use a ROUTER, not a hub or a Cross-Over cable. I've had a lot trouble with that. Redwing
I have Ad-Aware. It kicks ass. I didn't know about the others, though...
Cal_da_Darth
Yes, Ad-aware does kick ass. Yeah. Yeah, that's the way it is folks. It does kinda kick ass in a secular manner..in its own, unique special way. Yup. With its big foot. Ya see it? Its about yay high. Yup, ya see where my hand is? I know i do. That's how tall it is. I mean, that's how tall its foot is. Ad-aware himself is actually much taller. He just has a big foot. Or is it little? I dunno, but if you want to just look at where my hand is. And if you can't see my hand, then just go to http://www.red.com. That's a funny website. Yup. At least I think. Though that is all a matter of opinion. Does this shirt make me look fat? Does it make you look fat? Does it smell fat? If ya wanna try it on, just call me. My home phone number is 123-4567. My work phone is 1-900-CAL-WORK. Yup. I work at a place called McDonalds®. Welp, g'night folks.
