I would create a lightsaber hilt of my own design. Why would I want to copy someone elses. It would most likely have a form-fitted grip. I might put a slight tilt in it or make it double sided, but I don't know. Heck, I might even make it rainbow colored. :p

 

So in closing none of the votes match mine vote, my own unique style.

I'd like to have a simple blue blade; however, Darth Vader's lightsaber was built to be more powerful than any other lightsaber, so I think I'd have to take his. Darth Maul's double-bladed saber would just be too clumsy.

What is a 'more powerful' saber?... I mean, they can already cut through anything. It seems to me that the only difference in power would be in how you styled the grip...

I read somewhere that Sith lightsabers are supposed to be more "powerful" and Jedi lightsabers are supposed to be more maneuverable. I agree, though. I don't see how a lightsaber could be built to be more "powerful."
