Jabba The Hunt Posted July 24, 2002 Author Share Posted July 24, 2002 Dont know if it reached american news but there was a report on today that an asteriod is on a colision course for earth, they have to recheck their calculations, but if they are right it should arrive in 17 years (2019). Anyway, I dont think we should let the americans take this one, knowing their usual accuracy with bombing, they will proably miss the asteriod completely and bring another 5 of them raining down on us. Anyway heres a few questions/ideas to spark conversation 1. How close/far would you want to be if it hits. 2. What would you want to be doing if it hits. 3. Do you think I could dig a bunker between now and then? 4. Would you be willing to pay higher taxes to get rid of it? 5. About the asteriod, heard about it today on Channel 4 news. Then I saw "Rambo: First Blood" at 9 PM GMT on Channel 5, before that I saw "The Simpsons" on BBC 2 at 6 PM.
