SamNMax Posted July 24, 2002 Posted July 24, 2002 What is your favorate LEC classic? My favorate is Maniac Mansion but no one agrees with me.
Treacherous Mercenary Posted July 26, 2002 Posted July 26, 2002 I guess Star Wars Dark Forces.. It's the only classic I got recently with Star Wars Jedi Knight II ..
Old_Ben Posted July 26, 2002 Posted July 26, 2002 I got Dark FOrces when it first came out and it was real fun. Not as good by JKII standars, but great for when it came out.
The Adventurer Posted July 26, 2002 Posted July 26, 2002 CLasic? Oh gotta be Monkey Island 2. Best game ever.
Ewok Hunter Posted July 29, 2002 Posted July 29, 2002 classics, that would be attack of the tentacles:D
Lord Savage Posted July 30, 2002 Posted July 30, 2002 For me, my fav is Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis specifically the Mac Talky version. See the Poll thread for my reasoning if you are interested. I thought the voice acting was nearly perfect (Mr. Ford doing the voice-over would have made it perfect).
BitRate Aaron Posted July 31, 2002 Posted July 31, 2002 My favorite has to be Fate of Atlantis; I had so many problems with it locking up (I had the worst computer ever) and spent so many hours on the phone with tech support trying to fix it that it made me want to become a game programmer.
Zindell Posted August 1, 2002 Posted August 1, 2002 First game I ever played, I must have been 6 years old, Monkey Island, It's what got me hooked on lucasarts.
thwidra Posted August 1, 2002 Posted August 1, 2002 My favorite Games from LucasArts are Grim Fandango and X-Wing Alliance. And I love the Monkey Island Games (and all the Adventures).
scabb Posted August 1, 2002 Posted August 1, 2002 Monkey Island is the classic. As for my favourite oldies, I like MI2 & DOTT.

It was boring and repetitive. It was good for the first few minutes.

Jem Posted August 8, 2002 Posted August 8, 2002 Originally posted by scabb Star Wars Jedi Power Battles, of course. Of course, Monkey Island was just too great. I would have been surprised if what you said concerned Monkey Island.
Jem Posted August 8, 2002 Posted August 8, 2002 HELL YEAH! I restarted playing the game no so long ago, I had to take a pause because of my vacation. I am currently chasing that trator Harkov, I can't wait until I get back on playing the game and get my hands on that filthy scum.
thwidra Posted August 11, 2002 Posted August 11, 2002 There's a nice special about the Lucas-Adventures on this page: http://www.pcp-forever.de But it's in german. Maybe you are interested.
Doodle Dude of Doom Posted August 12, 2002 Posted August 12, 2002 The top 5 LucasArts classic games: 1. Monkey Island 2. - Guybrush is back! Now with beard 2. Moneky Island 1. - Monkey Island, the first game in the series that would change the game history. 3. Full Thottle. - LucasArts prove that action scenes can work out very good in adventure games. 4. Grim Fandango. - One of LucasArts first 3D Adv games. With a gripping sotry, great grapichs and jazzy feeling, LucasArts proved that adventure game could work out jsut as good in 3D as in 2D. 5. Indiana Jones: The fate of atlantis. - The first adventure game I ever played (on my step dads old mac). Absolutley the best game with a film hero in it. I don't play much games. But when it comes to adventure games I must play them or I'll go crazy
itsgood2slide Posted August 16, 2002 Posted August 16, 2002 Loom will always be a very special game to me. Its not my favourite LEC game, but I think its worthy of a mention here.
