I have the face how I like it now so I just have to finish up the back of his head I'm gonna try to get the model finished this coming week. Toonces Posted August 20, 2002 Author Share Posted August 20, 2002 A mini update, I completely re-did the Lekuu (sp?) to make them easier to map, and to make them buldge out a bit more (looks better now) I'm doing the uvmaping right now. Trying out Max 5 for the first time today (thanks Paul!) It flat out rocks I love the new polytools, and the UVmaping system is much improved. The improvements to the Skin modifier are also impressive, I'm about 80% done with the weights on Anakin and the enhanced control over the envelopes, and the painted verts make it more of a pleasure to work with I may just have to pick this puppy up, it's really nice Toonces http://www.drivingcatstudios.com Powered by Sith Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Toonces Posted August 24, 2002 Author Share Posted August 24, 2002 Cool Chrono, I'm gonna rig the face so hopefully I can pull that off, I'm not a coder so I might need somebody to help me with that .cfg file I'm working on the uv's for the tenticles, the rest of him is completely mapped, the tenticles are being a bit of a pain though edit: The uv's are finished, I'm gonna put a basic skin on them quick to check them out.
