leXX
I have a microsoft optical intellimouse. I go for corded over cordless. I used to have a cordless but the batteries kept running out right at the most critical times and the infra red connection didn't always connect which annoyed me greatly. The mouse I have now is excellent! I hated having to blow the dust from those useless bl00dy mouse balls (parden the pun).

Jah Warrior
I use tha microsoft intellimouse explorer cordless and frankly i am very disappointed with the quality of it. For some reason it seems to just stop working and you have to press a button to make it work again, the slidy pads on the bottom fell off, mouse 4 & 5 stopped working, and it goes through batteries like there is no tomorrow, as soon as i can be bothered i'll get the version with a cord as thats what i had b4 and it worked superbly. shame i gave mine to my brother when i got the cordless. Also on the subject of cordless mice etc, I got this memorex wireless keyboard, for like 50 quid, and its brilliant which really surprised me as i only bought it because its silver like the rest of my PC. It hardly ever needs batteries and its really comfy to use. If u see these in a shop check it out i really rate this keyboard.
