Luke`s voice in episode 2

As I have already posted.

It IS supposed to be Qui-Gonn's voice. However Liam Neeson did not record it, they took his voice from Ep I. Both GL and Liam Neeson have confirmed this.

They probably took the 'Anakin' part from 'Anakin drop!'

The 'No!' I not sure about because I don't remember Qui-Gonn shouting 'no!' in EP I so it may be someone else's voice. But the whole thing IS supposed to be Qui-Gonn. If they had used Luke's voice for the 'no!' it doesn't matter, there is no meaning to it. It's just because they didn't have Liam shouting 'no!' on tape.

Is there a source that says Neeson didn't record it? I keep hearing people say this but I've heard no source for it yet....

Hmm this is a crazy idea, but I will post it anyway

Lets say that when Jinn died, he was living further as a kind of ghost, and watched Anakin get trained. And when Anakin got mad and killed tuskens, Qui-Gon was screaming " Anakin! Anakin! Noooooooo!".... and then he was almost totally dead. But then Qui-Gon born himself anew as Luke Skywalker, and therefore got the chance to get Anakin over to the Light Side again. But the new Qui-Gon, or Luke, had no memory of this, of course.

Evidense 1: If you imagine a young Jinn, he might not have looked so much different than Luke. So this may mean that Luke was totally the same as Qui-Gon

Evidense 2: Many of you indicate that it was Lukes voice that screamed noooo, this supports the other evidence

I do not say I belive this is true, far from it, it was just a cool theory.

:luke::saberg: = :aobi::saberg: ? Would be funny if it was...

why would it be luke, there is almost no reason for it. He isn't even born. It makes much more sense if it was qui-gon, beacause hes dead, so he can prolly send thoughts (althought he didn't disapear so....) and hes the one that believed anakin was "the one"

edit: just read ur theory... its a good one, but pretty damn far fetched ;) if i say so my self. Could happen though.

craziest goddamned idea ever:

we hear qui-gon, from when anakin was younger

then we hear lukes scream

then we hear vader's breathing

maybe yoda is hearing what eventually happens to anakin, kinda like his evolution, we hear when he was younger, when he tells luke he's his father then the final breathing of vader? who knows, no flames just my thoughts and to reply to padawan, vader's breathing was something totally separate right? right, then why can't the "NOOOOOOO!" be someone separate too? you have no logical explanation why one thing can be separate but not another thing, i don't understand why all this arguing has to happen, why doesn't someone with the movie downloaded (pirated copying bastards!!!!) just take that clip and post it on here, find out how to cut a segment out and post it

You do mean "Qui Gon" right? Did you even see the phantom menace movie? At any rate it really is supposed to be Qui-Gonn's voice. You can't go by what you thougth you heard. In The Empire Strikes Back Special Edition, when luke finally falls off of the weather vane his scream sounds exactly like the emporer in Return of the Jedi when Vader throws him down the shaft in the Death Star. And note this, in Raiders of the lost ark, during the truck chase sequence when Indy accidentally hits a bunch of workers on ladders one of them screams exactly like a stormtrooper when he falls, off the catwalk in the Death Star in A New Hope. Take it from someone who has seen these movies entirely too many times.

(edit) When I first posted this reply I was a little drunk. This is what I meant to say....sorry:(

BTW I think some of you guys are reading into this way too much and making stuff up. This is about as silly as the idea that Palpatine and Darth Sideous are different people........get real!
