Raschel: Hey. You're on the run from the Empire, and so are we. I don't know who your father is, but frankly it doesn't matter. I'm sure the New Republic will be happy to let you borrow transportation if you need it.

 

*Irvine looked like he was about to reply, but suddenly his eyes snapped wide open and rolled upwards. His body took on a purple glow as he fell to the ground.

 

Raschel grabbed for her blaster on instinct. At the same time her eyes recognized the telltale ripple of a mimetic suit. That was the last thing she saw before everything went black.

 

Raschel fell next to Irvine, glowing as he was.

 

The mimetic suit rippled again and deactivated. A goateed man stood above Orthos' bed, carrying two unusual-looking weapons. One was unrecognizable but still glowing purple. The second was a disruptor pistol.

 

"I just wanted you to look death in the eyes before it took you, son of Darkstar."

 

The man raised the disruptor and squeezed the trigger.

*Aidan peeked around the corner of a nearby building, then turned back to Marin* I think we got away from them. *takes a device out of his pack and hands it to her* You've got a place in mind, right?

 

*Marin fiddles with the device* Uhhh...sorta...but this thing isn't turning on.

 

*voice from behind* "Going somewhere?"

 

*Marin and Aidan whirled. Behind them stood five gray-suited men in trenchcoats, smirking and pointed hefty weapons at them. The middle man stepped forward and adopted a conversational pose.*

 

"My my, you led us on a merry chase. Good thing we found that assassin who traded in your whereabouts in exchange for equipping him to kill your buddy Orthos."

 

*uncomprehending looks*

 

"Oh, so he isn't your buddy, then? Oh well. Guess you won't have to miss him. Because we're here to take you back where you belong."

 

*More gray suits emerged from behind them and circled them. Just as one of them was about to grab Marin, the girl bolted.

 

One of the gray suits pointed a weapon at her. Aidan pointed his finger at him and fired a bolt of lightning. The lightning just jolted the man, his suit protecting him. He fired his stunbolt at Aidan instead. Aidan froze, glowed like Raschel and Irvine had, and dropped. Marin only got around the edge of the building before being dropped by a similar bolt.

 

The men in gray suits grabbed the pack from her unresisting grasp and opened it. They looked dissatisfied with the contents.

 

Man 1: Not all the stuff is here. They must have hidden some of it.

 

Man 2: That doesn't make any sense. *pointing to the portal device* According to this thing, they were about to leave the dimension altogether.

 

Leader: *points to Marin's prone body* Wake her.

 

*one of the men jabs a syringe in Marin's neck. She jerks a little, and mumbles*

 

Leader: *grabbing Marin and hoisting her up to talk into her ear* I know you can hear me, little Water-Breather. Where did you put the rest of the objects you stole from us?

 

*Marin mumbles something. The leader slaps her* Speak up.

 

Marin: Th...the...no...

 

*the leader drops her disgustedly* Get her and the gargoyle into restraints. We'll question them when they wake up fully.

 

Man 3: Sir? Perhaps they left the objects on the ship they came in?

 

Leader: Well...*thinks on the idea for a moment* Where is the ship?

 

Man 4: It hasn't left yet. In fact, you can see it from here- *hands the leader electrobinoculars and points the direction*

 

Leader: *appraises Heimdall's ship* I say we go have ourselves a little look.

[Admiral Odin]

*Heimdall is jolted awaked from the blaring sirens. The ship was programmed to set the warning sirens off when a person approaches the ship, or there was weapon fire. Heimdall rushed to the ****pit to see what was going on outside, to notice that strange men were approaching the ship, and that they had captured the children. Turning on the repulsorlifts Heimdall raised the ship, then turns on the cloaking device*

 

Heimdall (speaking to the ship): It looks like these men have the two kids. Let's find out what they want with them and us.

 

*Heimdall turns on the external comm*

 

Heimdall: Stay where you are. If you approach I will kill you. *the men continue to appraoch* Don't believe me do you. Well here is a warning.

 

*turns off the com*

 

Heimdall: tagert the ground right in front of the man in the lead.

 

Ship:Target aquired

 

Heimdall: Fire

 

*a burst of laser fire that appears to be coming form thin air hits the ground right in front of the group of strangers halting them in their path. Heimdall then moves the ship so they to confuse them.*

 

Heimdall: Target the group, exclude the two children. Paint them so they can tell that they are being tracted.

 

Ships: Affirmative...targets aquired.

 

*turns on the com*

 

Heimdall: Good, I have your attention. Now set the children down. Please note the red dot on your clothes. That is a warning that I'm tracking you and if you try anything you will be dead in an instance. If you try to hid behind the children, you still will die I have very precise guns. Now what do you want?

[Kuuki]

*Irvine was no consious, but only thoughts still ran through his mind*

 

Irvine: 'What the!? AHH! NO! Raschel not you too! Orthos has been shot! Is he dead!? What? Im I being dragged? I can tell whats going on! Whats this? Those children in trouble? Heimdall is trying to save them! I can't tell where I'm being dragged to, I can't see. Wiat Alys! She can help, but im not sure ill be able to reach her, ill try... Alys!you'vegot to help, Heimdall! So... tired...'

*the men look on in astonishment as the Aesirian ship cloaks*

 

Man 1: An invisibility field? No one native to this galaxy has tha technology on that scale.

 

Man 2: Switching to thermal scanners. *beat* It isn't displaying a signature, but I can see the space where it ought to be.

 

Comm: Stay where you are. If you approach I will kill you.

 

Man 3: It's bluffing.

 

Comm: Don't believe me do you. Well here is a warning.

 

*a laser blast materializes and blasts the ground in front of the leader*

 

Man 3: The ship is moving!

 

Leader: Hurry, target it!

 

Man 3: Can't target it sir. But I've recorded its subspace signature.

 

Leader: Now fall back before it kills us.

 

Comm: Good, I have your attention. Now set the children down. Please note the red dot on your clothes. That is a warning that I'm tracking you and if you try anything you will be dead in an instance. If you try to hid behind the children, you still will die I have very precise guns. Now what do you want?

 

Leader: *quietly* Call the ship. We can't let something like this slip. *loudly* These children belong to us. They left some items of ours abroad your ship. Give them to us and you won't have any trouble.

[Kuuki]

@Scar: Orthos wasn't necessarily shot. That's left up in the air

 

i know, Irvine is just sensing, and is still very disorented from the stun, not to mention still very not awake, so its still thrown up

[Admiral Odin]

Leader: Call the ship....

 

Heimdall: Naughty Naughty. Shame on you, trying to call your ship, and you haven't put the children down. Now your going to have to pay. I warned you.

 

*Turns off the comm. Heimdall then scans his monitors and spots one of the group of strangers pulling out a device that looks like a com unit.

 

Heimdall: That will do. Locate third man from the center. Target the device he is holding. Use a precision laser. I want the device destroyed but I don't want to kill the man.

 

Ship: Location...suject found....Targeting....target aquired

 

Heimdall: Fire.

 

*A small laser bolt is fired, destroying the device, but not harming the man (well at least nothing more the giving a slight burn). Heimdall turns the com back on*

 

Heimdall: That was your second and last warning. If I detect a ship approaching I will kill all of you with out a second thought. Now put the children on the ground, back away and then we will discusse your stolen property.

 

Oh, something to you should consider before doing anything rash. I have no qualms about killing, and I know you are not from this dimension. Now do as I say.

((OOS: The suit would protect him from being burned. It protected them from being killed by Aidan's lightning, earlier. btw - how are you hearing the whispers? The group isn't that close to the ship, they're still between buildings))

 

*the man holding the charred remains of the device Heimdall had fried opens his mouth to speak, but the leader silences him with a look and gives him a hand signal*

 

Leader: What interest do you have in these children? And may I ask how you know we are "not from this dimension"?

[Kuuki]

*Irvine wakes up tied, blindfolded, gaged and still feeling the after effects of the stun gun. Irvine sense that Raschel is somewhere in the vacinaty, and Irvines weapony has been removed*

 

Irvine: 'Argh! Damn stun gun, why do those thing have to feel like a hangover after an all-nighter. ugh. Lets see if i can just keep still for a little while, and get some strength back before attemping to break these bindings'

 

*Irvine then hears foot steps moving closer...*

*Walking the cooridors on the opposite side of the base, Alys, lost and tired, suddenly had a jarring brief mental connection*

 

ALYS!!go t lp, Heim!!

 

*the sudden wave caused her to have to kneel down, recovering. She got up, and started sprinting, unknowingly headed in the correct direction*

and as for the imperial characters, well, soemone else who has those characters can call up an meeting ^_^

((Heimdall heard them by two ways. The ships Audio pickups are extermly sensitive and have a long range. Also Heimdall has very acute hearing (it is said he can hear grass grow to give you an idea). In the end the ship barely picked up the comment, and with Heimdall hearing he was able to make it out. Also even though the men may between buildings when the ship was park, the ship is no longer parked. It has been moving around so the distance has been closed enough for the sensors to pick it up. Sorry forgot to mention that in my previous post))

 

Heimdall: Well first off you have given enough clues for an idiot to learn that you are not from this dimension. First you grab the two children who are not from this dimension. This leaves two possiblities your are idiots who are from this dimension, or idiots from another. You then ask for stolen merchandise, this rules out that your idiots from this dimension. So what are we left with is that you are idiots from another dimension. However that is not how I knew you weren't from here. That I won't disclose but I'll give you some tips.

 

1. Never ask a question: How did you know we are not from this dimension. It says that I'm right, even if I was bluffing which I wasn't.

 

2. Your clothes are extermly different, they make you stand out. Next time you will probably want to wear something over that. If you live through this encounter.

 

Now about the childern. My interest is hearing their side of the story, uninfluenced by you idiots. Anything else does not concern you. Now for the final time put the children down and step away from them.

 

Oh, I'm sure your wondering how I heard your little whisper. My ship has excellent audio sensors. That excludes my own hearing. Just another tid bit to think about.

Leader's comlink: We've hooked the fish. Orders?

 

Leader: See what it can do. We don't want to be premature about this. Now get us up there.

 

*The gray-suited men rise along with the children into the belly of the ship.

 

Lasers lance out of the distorted arm toward Heimdall's ship*

no its a completey different guy (like irvine then rachel got shot but the shooter, then two others took the 'stunned' away

 

*Irvine remains motionless has he tried to figure out what it happening around him...*

 

*foot steps end*

 

1st Voice: "Is he awake?"

 

2nd Voice: "No, still stunned."

 

1st Voice: "Good, we'll make a background check wth this one, he isn't been recorded to be with the rest, put him in deck 14 section 8, that warehouse isn't being used."

 

2nd Voice: "How bout the others?"

 

1st Voice: "Have them brought to the ship, either incompasitated or willing, either way i want them all alive."

 

*Irvine could tell the first voice was a commanding officer*

 

Irvine: 'If only I had some sort of weapon, I'd use the ability to break these bindings, and get these two, but that won't work right now... I guess I'll wait for a better opertunity'

 

*Irvine notices the same foot steps walking away*

 

2nd Voice: "Droids, pick him up."

 

*Irvine felt the robot like hands lifting him self up and being moved*

Heimdall: They want to do it the hard way then. Well Gulltop shall we prepare to reign death to these fools.

 

*Lasers lance out of the distorted arm toward Heimdall's ship causing the ship to rock back and forth but doing no damage*

 

Gulltop: No damage has occured, shields still at 100%.

 

Heimdall: They do not know our capabilities, but they shall learn. Prepare flash messge.

 

Gulltop: Ready.

 

Heimdall: Tyr: Encountered an alien force. Threat is high. Resonance Torpedoes could be needed. Begin production. Will launch the one of the four torpedoes onboard to Jotunheim. Detination will be tied to my life signs. These aliens will regreat they encountered me. Good bye. Send message

 

Gulltop: Sent

 

Heimdall: Lock resonance torpedoes to Jotunheim, 1 to the alien ship, and 1 to the star of this system. Have the detination of the torpedoes to be locked to my life signs. If I die have them detonate. Launch when ready. Do the same for the Fourth torpedo, arm it but do not launch.

 

Gulltop: ......Torpedoes lauched.

 

*Three tropedoes leave Heimdall's ship, one head for Coruscant, another to the local star, and the third hit's the alien ship and penatrates it's hull sitting there armed but dormante for the time being. Heimdall then goes to the weapon's locker and pulls some of the deadliest weapons Aesirian scientist ever produced.*

 

Heimdall *looking at the arsenal*: Thank you Tyr for giving me these weapons. *Heimdall takes his sword, a small exotic gun, and slings a resonance rifle across his back*. Gulltop they are going to try to board you. I will help you repulse them, If they pass me, and your first line of defense. Enact protical 2567 hold them back until it is accomplished.

 

If we repulse them I'll try and capture their ship. If at any time they are able to board you, destroy everything. We cannot let our people be discovered.

 

Gulltop: Ready, I will destroy myself before allowing them access to any of our technology or information about our people. Good luck my lord.

 

((Protical 2567 if your curious is instructions on how to destroy the ship. 1 destroy any information on the Aesir/Vanir. 2 destroy technology (vital systems first like the cloaking device). 3 Initiate core overload. This is done basically done all at once))

Irvine: 'Now heres my chance!'

 

Irvine: "Aaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrggggggggghhhhhhhhh!!!"

 

*Irvine uses his abiltiy to tear himself out of his bindings, then in one full motion, kicks both droids up agenst the walls and disables them, while pulling off the gag and blindfold to see one of his captures*

 

Irvine surprised: "Nick, oh, so your one of them, eh? *Grins slighty evily* what a pity."

 

Nick: "NO! NO! Oof!"

 

*Irvine unleashes a temendious about of strength into a single punch the flew Nick right into a concrete wall, while creating a massive crack in it

Irvine recovers his weapony and starts running for the docks*

 

Irvine: I've been delayed a little, ill be there in approx 2 maybe 3 min tops!

 

Irvine Running: "That damned stun is starting to wear off. And as for that little pecker he was too annoying more then a threat."

[Deac]

*Orthos sees the bolt come towards him...but it slows down, almost to the point where it stops*

 

So this is how they saw the world

 

*Orthos sidesteps the bolt, and runs to the door*

[Cmdr. Cracken]

*alys crept up on the intersection, one way lead to the docking bay, the other, to the med bay.... nah, head to the docks, get a few weapons. she peeked around the corner, and saw the clear, and with grace and silence, she headed for the docking bay. Crouching behind a crate, she saw two guards. well, at least R2 got to her ship before they came. she wondered who they where, not any of the base commanders, different uniforms.

 

quietly she crept around behind one, and she came from behind, snapping his neck, and taking his gun, the other started shooting, but she used the now dead guard as a body shield, and fired 2 shots from the blaster. one to the head, another to the heart. As they slumped to the ground, she moved them behind a crate, and got into her starfighter. Took a lightsaber, and her two blasters out of the hold, and closed it. she put the lightsaber on her belt, and holstered the two blasters.*

*But to where...?*

*Irvine runs towards the docks and zips around corners left and right, until suddenly*

 

Irvine: "Oof! oh hi, alys"

 

*Irvine and Alys ran stright into each other*

((lol Scar...I'd yell at you but I dun think AG is coming back, nor did he understand the RPG ))

 

*The assassin puts a hole in the door as Orthos runs past it* You filth! You can't run! This is my day! Your life is over! *kicks the door off its hinges and runs after Orthos, sending more disruptor bolts at him*

*On the deck of the alien ship, the Leader watches his lasers impact Heimdall's ship*

 

Officer: Target sustained no damage.

 

Leader: Interesting. Double the power and fire again.

 

Officer: Yes sir. Wait...the ship is sending a message. *beat* Now it's firing missiles.

 

Leader: Evade if necessary.

 

*Heimdall's ship fires three torpedoes. Two shoot out of the atmosphere, and another heads for the alien ship*

 

Leader: Destroy the missile.

 

*laser lance towards the missile, but do not penetrate the quantum shell*

 

Officer: It's quantum armored!

 

Leader: Contain it! *beat* Where'd it go?

 

Officer: *caustically to an underling* Run a diagnostic of the ship's surface.

 

Underling: Missile has penetrated the outer shell. Appears to be resting dormant.

 

Officer: Well send a droid to pick it out! *to another underling* Prepare a warp field to contain the missile.

 

Leader: Did you intercept the ship's message?

 

Officer: *checks* Yes. But it's encoded in a way unknown to our systems.

 

Leader: Try to decipher it.

 

*stares at Heimdall's now unmoving ship*

 

The fish isn't struggling.

 

Officer: Our scans aren't very revealing, sir. Should we attack it again?

 

Leader: Yes. Quadruple laser power and auto-fire for...three seconds.

 

*Lasers again lance out at Gulltop*

[Kuuki]

i know, but there had to at least be a cover up for his appearence ^_^

 

Irvine: "oh never mind, im busy fight now"

 

*Irvine ignoring that he accidently bumped into her, continued to run towards teh docks, igniting both lightsabers*

[Cmdr. Cracken]

*Alys surprised, it taken back, almost drawing on the young man. Sithspawn hot head. she saw him charge down the hall way, and chased after him.*

 

He's gonna get him self killed...... stupid kid

[Admiral Odin]

*A droid approaches the resonance torpedo, reaching the torpedo the droid extends it's arms to lift the torpedo. But when it comes in contact to the out shell and electric current is unleashed on the droid disableing it.*

 

*Heimdall Sits near the entrance portal watching a monitor of activity outside the ship and listening to their converstation*

 

Heimdall: Well Gulltop it is a good thing our people are extremely protective. I'm going to love watching the virus go through their systems when they try to decode my message.

 

*A technichian sits down at a console trying to decode the message when all of a sudden he sees a skull laughing. After trying a few algroithms a strange symbol appears on his monitor. Thinking that he was succesful he goes tell his supervisor, compelty unaware that the symbol means a computer virus has been activated. The ship is then hit by more lasers*

 

Gulltop: Shields still at full strenght. New armor appears to be working wonders. No damage.

 

Heimdall: New Armor? When was new armor installed?

 

Gulltop: Shortly after the death of Lord Odin. It was amoung several new items installed. Would have briefed you sooner but we picked up passengers before I could tell you. ((Quantum armor was added if your curious))

 

Heimdall: That is alright. I don't feel like showing them our full capabilities just yet. Drop the cloaking shield so they think that we have sustained damage. Any chance they installed the plasma guns?

 

Gulltop: Yes my lord.

 

Heimdall: Good very good.

 

*In the alien ship the virus multiplies itself and spreads throughout the ships systems. Finding the com system the virus takes control and makes an announcement to the alien ship. Monitors begin flashing, and the strange symbol appears on most of them, a voice is then heard*

 

Virus: Foolish beings you have tried to read a message not meant for you. By doing this you have unleashed the wraith of the Aesir.

 

*Suddenly all the monitors go blank and lights are cut.*

[Deac]

*Orthos dodges and turns. He kicks, knocking the weapon out of the assassin's hand, and pins him against the wall*

 

Who are you working for?!!!

[BattleDog]

*Suddenly Ivrine runs into an invisible wall. He falls to the floor.*

 

Hal: *Lightsaber at Ivrine's throught.* I sence the the dark side. You have 30 seconds to explain.
