Redwing
Aidan: You underestimate us. You know little to nothing of our capabilities, and you threaten us? Go ahead, shoot me - if you can. Marin: Aidan, please. *to Heimdall* Heimdall. *pauses and realizes something* You think killing those Shadows got rid of them? *shakes head* It won't stop that way, Heimdall. Your torpedo only destroyed a...an oversized scout ship. There will be more. Now that they know about you, they.. *sighs, closes her eyes* I want some sign that we can trust you. That you haven't killed us yet isn't enough.
Admiral Odin
Heimdall: I wouldn't need to shoot you, and here is a general hint, don't underestimate an opponent. The shadows did that to me and they wound up dead. Unless you know better think they are equal to you or better. *Heimdall suddenly smiled* Very good Marin, you passed the test. You controlled your emotions under the threat of death even when you knew very well I could kill you. You held firm insisting that I prove my honor, before giving any information. You did very well. Though there was one problem. You didn't fully analyze the task. If you did then you would have known. 1. I was in the room fully aware of your presance, if what was said important enough I would have removed you, and consequently I didn't, and since I was there I would know what you heard. 2. Since I knew what you told Aidan, you should have conclude that I also knew you didn't comprehend what you heard. I wanted to see if you could fully analyze a situation under stress. Where you didn't do a complete job, you still did well. Aidan however is another matter. Unlike Marin you were quick to threats against an unkown oppenent, of unkown strenght. You failed to remain calm, and consequently put both your life and Marin's in danger. You assume that I knew nothing about you, and you were stronger then I each of those assumptions can easily get you killed. Learn from your friend, it will keep you alive longer. You may be brave but don't let emotions cloud your judgement. As far as the shadows are concerned I was toying with them. I needed information on their capablities, which I got. Gulltop is far from the most powerful ship my people have. It is a personal transport and not a warship. I don't believe I really have anything to fear from them. Neither should you as long as your here. Now then, you want a sign that you can trust me. I think that is only fair. What can I do to prove that I can be trusted? Just remember that I won't betray my people. *Heimdall gives a slight wave of the hand and Gulltop brings the weapons back to their normal positions.*
Redwing
Marin: *inhales and opens her eyes* I think I misjudged you. But I should warn you you've...also misjudged the Shadows. When I was in their computer, I saw what happened. You were toying with them, but they were also toying with you. Not only that, but they wanted you alive, healthy, and undamaged, along with your ship...they never used their capabilities in full on you. And that was only a scout ship, a little beefed up, but still...lower echelon. That bunch was pretty stupid. But I know that not all of them are like that. You'll understand why I'm still afraid of them. I don't know what you can do to prove you're trustworthy. I don't even know if you can. Maybe only time will tell...which makes me wonder, what are you intending to do with us? ---------- Misae: *looks troubled* I feel tremors in the Force. I feel...*looks at Orthos*...they're somehow connected with you, Orthos.
Admiral Odin
Heimdall: Actually I have made no judgements about the shadows, I have only gained more information. I'm pretty sure we are almost evenly matched. I'm not intending to do anything with you. You are free to go if you so desire, or you can stay. The choice is yours. You reek of the dark side, your soul balances on the edge of a knife. *Ivrine turns.* *A tall woman stands 3 metres behind him, she appears to be in her early 30s, she is tall and slim, with a dances frame and figure. She is exceedingly buetiful, with light brown hair, flecked with gold worn loose down to her shoulders. Her eyes are large, grey, but clouded with sea green, they posses a light which makes them either blinding or enchanting, depending on the woman's mood. Now they bore staight through Ivrine into his soul.* Name: Sophae Flax. Maiden Name: Sophae Windrider. Age: 46 Hight: 5'10'' Abilities: Jedi, as powerful as Taklin, very strong empathy. Weapons: Currently none, however if attacked she will defend herself with the force. Bio: Wife of Taklin Flax, (Lucky guy, huh?) born on Aguma, joined Rebel Alliance, on the way off planet her ship was attacked by Tie fighters. Taklin saved the transport. Redwing
((OOS: Since when do bruises appear as signs of the dark side, Battledog? Admiral: Marin was referring to "(...) I don't believe I really have anything to fear from them. (...)")) Misae: I don't know, honestly. I can only sense-*breaks off as she senses Sophae* You...you're a Jedi! *her astonishment puts her off guard. So others had survived...besides the one she'd left behind on Coruscant...* ---------- *Aidan growls slightly, then turns around* Fine. We're leaving, then. *Marin stares at Heimdall, calculating. As Aidan passes, she grabs his shoulder and stops him without moving. She motions for the pack, which Aidan hands her. She takes a canister out of the pack. She opens it, and takes an very oversized, shimmering crystal key out. The key has symbols engraved on it with some very fine tool. The key had a holder as well, with an inscription on it* Marin: We can't read these. Can you? *hands the key and the holder to Heimdall*

Admiral Odin
((Redwing: In Courtship of Princess Leia, brusing was a sign that a person used the Dark side.)) *Heimdall signals Gulltop to lower the boarding ramp to allow the children to get off, when Marin stops Aidan, and pulls out the key* *Heimdall looks at the inscription* Heimdall: These are called Runes. I can read the inscription, but it doesn't make sense. However, I do know a person who may be able to make sense of this. If you wish I will contact him. BattleDog
((OSS: Redwing, like Admiral says.)) Sophae: You reek of the dark side, hatred, anger, pride, bloodlust, arrogance. That's all I sense in you. Give me your light sabers, or I'll take them from you. ((OSS: Ivrine, since entering the story has been, pretty shady. He's always charging off into battle, he seems to view everyone else with disdain. When a Jedi says he reeks of the dark side he tells her not to make asumptions. Also he's burning up with hate for his father and he's using the force very recklessly. "Everything has to be paid for."))

And as for my Sabers..." *grabs on to them and applys a frim grip upon them* "Try to take them from my hands, but in the mean time, I'm going to take a stroll..." *Irvine turns around and continues to walk down the corrador...* Irvine: *sigh* 'I don't know why I keep getting angry at him, he's dead. End of story.' *sigh* 'Well, I don't see him, well maybe at least when and if I do sometime. I'll just promise myself I'll lay a big one right on his chin...' Redwing
((OOS: Scar, not all the Imperial Republic fleet would be going to the Crimson Star II. Remember, it's only Ravan's faction of the Council who even wants to use it (since there's currently no way to finish it). Also remember it's now Imperial Republic, not Imperial.)) Marin: Ah, I know what runes are, but I can't read those. I understand they're familiar to you? ---------- Raschel: You...I recognize you. You were Taklin Flax' wife...*realizes* I'm sorry. *A voice speaks from behind Orthos* What you need to do is leave this planet. *The group turns to see a man in a long dark trenchcoat over a strange gray bodysuit, with short blonde hair and grey eyes. The man looks over the party, and then further at Gulltop in its docking bay* Just how I saw it... Misae: Who are you? Why are you telling us to leave this planet? *The man looks at her* Call me Guy. You don't know me, but I know you. I also know that you all are in grave danger here. You and...*nods at Heimdall's ship behind them*...your friends must leave, now. Admiral Odin
Heimdall: Yes these runes are familar to me. You could say my father either learned or invented these runes. BattleDog
*Sophae sighs, then a sharp crack, like glass breaking can be heard.* Sophae: Your sabers are now useless, the crystals are shattered. *At this point Hal re-enters, along with a platoon of troops and repeater guns.* *The repeaters make short work of the storm troopers* Hal: That was the only transport to get through the defences. We've reppeled or destroyed the rest of the strike force, it was only a small unit. We've tracked their point of origan, I'm assembling a team now. Anyone like to come? Sophae: Hal, this one *gestures to Ivrine* is staying here. Hal: I tried to warn you kid, I'll leave you to my mother's tender graces. ((OSS: Remember, this is a fortres, not an outpost. Admiral Odin
Gulltop: Sir I detect gun fire. Also it Orthos and possible the others are approaching our position. Should I lower the ramp? *Heimdall considers this for a moment* Heimdall: Yes lower the ramp, I feel that they may be needed shortly. Dispatch a message to home. It will read. Urgent, found something Vidar needs to look at. However I probably will have the guests that I transported before. Will head to a nuetral place and await instructions. Heimdall Sent message. Gulltop: Message sent. *Boarding ramp is lowered* Heimdall to Marin and Aidan: My brother may now what this means. I can take you to him so we can solve this mystery. However, the imperial republic is invading this planet. Time is very short. You need to decide. Trust me a little and we can try and solve this mystery, or leave and take your chances with the imperials. I will not stop you one way or the other, but you must be quick. Admiral Odin
((Scar, there are some problems with post of yours. First the minor one. Stormtroopers sound.... (I assume you meant surround). Then you seem to have missed a major part of Battledog's post. 1. The stormtroopers who were supposed to arrest Irvine are dead. Their transports are also destroyed. " That was the only transport to get through the defences. We've reppeled or destroyed the rest of the strike force" and any stormtroopers that did land were killed. "The repeaters make short work of the stormtroopers" The base is secured, there are no Stormtroopers to arrest Irvine, no transport for Irvine to capture. ect. Redwing
((Scar, if you want to be arrested, state that your post happened before Battledog stated they were dead. Maybe Irvine ran off during the fracas. But you HAVE to make it fit. AND IT'S THE IMPERIAL REPUBLIC. NOT THE EMPIRE! THAT'S KIND OF AN IMPORTANT PLOT POINT! And by the way: "Guy" is a Shadow. You'll see why he is trying to help in a moment)) *Guy grabs Orthos* Wait! D... *Guy's head pangs and he drops his hand. A vision forms before his eyes. Someone...a levitating figure holding a...strange pronged lightsword...lands in front of Orthos. The two argue, but the pain prevents him for hearing. Guy forces himself to concentrate. The mysterious figure projects another dark, smoke-like being. Guy can practically feel the evil emanating from it. Orthos shouts some more. Then in one swift motion, the figure impales a startled Orthos and splits him in half. The vision vanishes in a streak of light. The figure from the vision lands in front of Orthos and ignites his saber. Figure: Hello, little brother. Orthos: *looking shocked, as in the vision* What? Lokpihet: Haven't seen you since you were just born. Father had me sent off to be trained as a sith the moment he saw you had the birthmark. But recently...*holds out his hand* This came along...and then...*the being appears* So did he... Guy: NO! *Guy leaps over Orthos' head, his suit letting him move faster and jump higher than humanly possible. Lokiphet slashes at him with his saber, but Guy catches the blade with his gloved hand and shoves it away. Before a startled Lokiphet can react, Guy kicks him in the face* ---------- Above the planet, two Star Destroyers emblazoned with the Imperial Republic seal emerge from hyperspace. Assault transports head towards the base below. Two Victory Star Destroyers emerge a few seconds later, also bearing seals. The third SD comms the first and second, announcing they've been sent to assist. Underneath the 'skin' of the "Victory Star Destroyers", two block shaped ships float. They sport extendable arms which are pressed to their sides to form a V shape. The "VSDs" head towards the planet's atmosphere, releasing their own "assault transports". ---------- Marin: *hesitates and looks at Aidan* Aidan: *hears blaster fire and answers reluctantly* He's telling the truth...there's some kind of firefight going on out there.
