Yeah man, Msue rocks:) One of the few popular bands which are actually good at what they do...

 

-they are highly original, mixing rock with classical music and an opera voice

-the musicians are VERY good at their instruments, matt bellamy kicking singers asses everywhere

-they seem to have a really nice adaptation of extremely cool riffs in their songs, New Born chorus and Micro cuts outro for instance:)

i also saw them live (at werchter last year) and i must say, i was a great, not to say the best live performance ive ever seen.

and ive seen a lot of bands live.

so we all say, Muse is the best!

Agreed, Muse are fantastic. However, as I am in a band myself, I find myself getting sort of irritated at Matt's voice! I can't possibly sing like that!!

 

What are your favourite Muse-songs? Mine are at the moment "In Your World", "Plug In Baby" and "Map of Your Head". "Map" is so great! Reminds me of Smashing Pumpkins, after a fashion..

I don't think so, there are some effects for guitar which make a guitar just sound like a singing voice, but Matt has been known for singing WITH his solos...

i bought the first album after i heared muscle museum on the radio. i was hooked from that moment on.

my fav songs are: showbiz, new born, bliss, citizen erased (how i like this one), plug in baby.

and how about "the gallery": beautifull relaxing piano song?

btw about the muscle museum solo ive seen him do it different ways.

 

ive seen him just sing it, just play it, use a different microphone which alters his voice to merge with the notes his guitar is playing and just put the microphone in his mouth and squeal like a girl:)
