Just ignore the error- hit the "back" button two times and refresh the thread once- should do the tric.

 

Ok, now here comes the first part of the bar- gotta go to my shift now, but tomorrow morning (here in europe at least- in about 20 hours) I'll build some decals and the upper part (that's hanging from the ceilling)- Hope you like the bar so far...

And damn am i having trouble with this forum. Sometimes my message comes through, and sometimes it doesnt...well nothing i can do about that...

I like your textures, Buck. I think mine are too real, Now the players are gonna look fake in mine. One thing though.

 

If you'll notice (in the movie) the tops of the 'domed' buildings are white-ish. I woud go back and make a separate texture of a lighter color for the tops of them.

 

You may have already done this, but I only looked at about 3 screenshots before I realized that mine was gonna look like crap, But you should build some sort of visible barrier around the edge of the map. Weather it be a building or a simple wall (like in mine) Because I know when Im fighting I jump all over the place and don't really pay attention to where I am going.

 

Just ideas. Also, DOES ANYBODY have any idea how to convert from 3d studio max fle or .max to .bsp????

 

I am strangling myself over here trying to figure out how to do this. Oh and Buck, I have new screenshots up at the same site as last time.

I agree with Keo's last comment about the tunnel leading to the pit/hanger thingy

 

That would provide a kool experience..good for role playing games...being chased...and btw..is there a way you could place the falcon prefab in that pit :p?

Looks good Buck.

 

Are you going to put any different type of lighting inside of Watto's shop? It looks a bit strange having light emitted from the floor (although it does look cool seeing the light coming out of the hole in the roof).

 

And what do you plan to place around the pit, more market booths?

 

Oh yeah, one more thing, did you every get that star problem solved?

The Falcon IS in the pit, look closer at the screenshots...

No, Bryce would work, and for about 4 days ago, the trialversion expired :(. But ill try to get them elsewhere...

Hehe, Wattos shop is as you can se,just started with. right now i have a lot in school, and mapping comes in second hand to that...

 

Im sorry, but its not nearly as big to support CTF, sorry...

Thats a hell of an adjustment to make, but what tha heck, when i get the time, ill start working on it!

Thanks AB_Legion, but i have already solved the problem. One of my co-teammembers in the JediFortress-mod karnivore is going to make the skybox, thanks anyway ;)

Ok here's how it is.....

 

 

..... i have had many problems with my gfx-caard, GF4Ti4200, and my entire rig is in for maintanence. This means i wont be able to acces any computer exept my little bros for the 3 following weeks, i just dont want you to loose faith in this map. It will be completed and released, it has not ben abbandoned. Just wanted you guys to know...

G-Sus, seems we're both stranded :( I've still working getting a new HDD, so I can back up my first PC. As soon as I get access to my PC, I'll copy the new bar and post it here...
