Boba Rhett Posted August 28, 2002 Posted August 28, 2002 Booyeah! I just reserved myself a copy of Star Fox Adventures! The ticket says it'll be there tomorrow. Here's hoping! Anyone else reserve a copy?
Boba Rhett Posted September 16, 2002 Author Posted September 16, 2002 Ain't it the truth. Rare has just released a bunch of new screenshots for it too. You can check them out here.
ibballin Posted September 18, 2002 Posted September 18, 2002 off the topic can you reserve metroid yet? or does that game come out in like a year?
Boba Rhett Posted September 18, 2002 Author Posted September 18, 2002 It comes out this year but I haven't seen reserve tickets for it yet. At least not at my TRU. Maybe EB games is taking reservations already. I haven't checked.
mercatfat Posted September 19, 2002 Posted September 19, 2002 Yes, they are. Until then, entertain yourself with Animal Crossing.
darthfergie Posted September 22, 2002 Posted September 22, 2002 hmmm...Maybe it's just me, but I thought it was already out...maybe it was just a demo I played at Best Buy. It was really quite strange tho. A bit anoing to my tastes that he couldn't do very much with the wand...not enough animations of im swinging it...but I guess that's because I'm used to playing Dynasty Warriors 3...
Sam Posted September 23, 2002 Posted September 23, 2002 I just played the demo. Are you sure you were playing Star fox B/c he has a lot of animations and special moves with that thing. Edit: DW3 rocks but its to foggy
ibballin Posted September 23, 2002 Posted September 23, 2002 i didnt play the demo but i was watching someone play the demo and was amazed. i still remember the days of original star fox, ahhh the good ol days
Boba Rhett Posted September 24, 2002 Author Posted September 24, 2002 My TRU doesn't get it in until the 26th.
Sherack Nhar Posted September 30, 2002 Posted September 30, 2002 PlanetGamecube says the longevity of the game is lacking. So if I had a Gamecube, I'd rent it instead of buying it.
LiMP RABBiT Posted October 28, 2002 Posted October 28, 2002 lacks longlivity. Pah. Over 60 hours just to complete the main quest. Lacks longlivety. [mumble, mumble]
Boba Rhett Posted October 28, 2002 Author Posted October 28, 2002 I think my counter said 12 hours. Whoever said this game was a copy of Zelda should be shot. It lacks much of what made zelda great. You use one weapon, there's no side quests to speak of and I didn't really care about the people like I did in Zelda. But it's still a pretty spiffy game.
