It is dead, dont even bother with the dreamcast two, with even worse games and a bulkier controller. It was at one time second, now it is last in sales. It will die soon enough, it is xboxs destiny. CagedCrado Posted August 29, 2002 Share Posted August 29, 2002 Game Cube has the coolest games that will be out by far. I am a fan of the classics, Zelda cant be beat. Only thing the system dosent have the best of is there is no final fantasy, but the last 4 final fantasy games have been ****. There are a few coming out for gamecube but i dont know how good they will be. Whatever you do DO NOT get an xbox. If you want a DVD player, there will be special game cubes someday because there are in japan right now. PS2 has a dvd player, it works great from my experience with it. And what makes it better than the PS2 online service is you don't have to pay 80 bucks for adapters and extras. The Xbox is internet ready. You can get the starter set for only 49 dollars at a store. It comes with the ethernet cable, the Xbox Live Communicator, the startup disc, and a free game (ReVolt). You get a free year of service along with the starter kit. You still have to pay for your broadband provider, but the same goes for PS2. These are the top three Xbox live games I'm waiting for. While most of the conversations centered on the sucking of things or the romantic escapades of my mother, occasionally I found myself on a team that actually used the voice chat to work as a unit.
