Nute Gunray Posted January 17, 2003 Posted January 17, 2003 I was bored so i dug up this thread again. Economic Left/Right: 6.62 Authoritarian/Libertarian: 5.49 Apparently I've gone soft in the last few months, but more money-grubbing than ever.

Keyan Farlander Posted January 19, 2003 Posted January 19, 2003 On a related note, I have suffered a personal tragedy. It seems that recently some of my good friends from high school have gone pinko.
Taarkin Posted January 19, 2003 Posted January 19, 2003 Originally posted by Keyan Farlander On a related note, I have suffered a personal tragedy. It seems that recently some of my good friends from high school have gone pinko. 20 CCs OF LOGIC, STAT!
Nute Gunray Posted January 20, 2003 Posted January 20, 2003 This is why we need re-education camps in this country. Or maybe just education camps. Or maybe some guys with shirts that say "Communism Doesn't Work" under a picture like this:
Jabba The Hunt Posted January 20, 2003 Posted January 20, 2003 communism is a basically good idea it's just spoilt by peoples desire to gain power, which unfortunately is very strong.
Keyan Farlander Posted January 20, 2003 Posted January 20, 2003 Originally posted by Jabba The Hunt communism is a basically good idea it's just spoilt by peoples desire to gain power, which unfortunately is very strong. Exactly. Just like taking a bath in highly concentrated sulfuric acid is a basically good idea, it's just spoiled by the fact that you'll die.
Taarkin Posted January 20, 2003 Posted January 20, 2003 I'm sure its a nice theroy if you're willing to overlook the fact that most theories are based on things like "evidence" and "logic".
Admiral Odin Posted January 20, 2003 Posted January 20, 2003 Communism tries to go against human nature, as such is a dumb idea. People are greedy, and like power. Pure Communism says don't be greedy and you won't really have a lot of power. Won't work. For some reason I don't see anyone gladly doing the crappy jobs for free (like garbageman) especially when they can do something else....
Kylilin Posted January 20, 2003 Posted January 20, 2003 communism only works for hippies and beatniks... hippies and beatniks----> <---- kylilin
Taarkin Posted January 21, 2003 Posted January 21, 2003 Just remind them that attempts at communism have killed more people than anything else in the history of the Earth.
Jem Posted January 21, 2003 Posted January 21, 2003 Communism would be a good idea if it weren't for the fact that humans are all greedy scums.
