It creates a loop which is then elongated so much it takes on the form of a stick. That is why when you turn it on it flashes - that is the light loop bending into a stick in a matter of milliseconds.
Drunken_Sailor Posted September 18, 2002 Posted September 18, 2002 You can only bend light in such manner with immense gravity, i.e. a blackhole. No magnetic force I think can affect light in such manner. Interesting to hold a blackhole
