Dagobahn Eagle
___ || ---- | \ "Cable out, let'er go!" I just completed the testing of the tow cable in a 1v1 (player vs. computer target) mission and it worked. I'm now working on the trigger-message that will go off if the player goes too far off from the target, or if the player is destroyed. Then, I'll start working on implementing this in a mission with several speeders. ..Just a bit of a morale-boost for all you project members and XWA-players out there (I'm also working on updating my site, an update that will include this "alpha tow cable test" mission). Wish the project luck! Dagobahn Eagle, aka Cloud Project Leader

Dagobahn Eagle
How do you do this when X-Wing Alliance is a space-based game? You know how you can make new models and implement them into the game? What we (or actually, what Abolisher and Flavid ) did was to make a large flat planet surface and a "dome sky" and install them both as stations. So when you fly/drive over this surface, it appears like you're on or over a planet. how do u control the at-at? i want to be [an at-at] driver Same as a correlian transport. You can only turn, not climb, dive, or roll (obviously), and you can aim the "head" like you aim the CORT turrets -either by pressing G to manually aim it or by setting it to autofire/defensive fire. The heavy "chin gun" lasers of the AT-AT defaults to firing forward (at any rebel turret or installation that might be in the way). do we need any special other updates for XWA?? You will need to install the XWA update patch (follow the link in the Download section of the website), but except from that you won't need any new updates.
