rut-wa jodar
I think George Lucas may have messed the time line up between Episode 2 and Episodes 4,5 & 6. For example Anakin in AOTC is about 18 years old, however there is rougly only a 26 year time line between AOTC and ROTJ which would make anakin/vader 44 years old when he died in ROTJ. But he was obviously a lot older. Same thing applies to obi-wan .can someone please explain ?
BCanr2d2
But how old do we really think, or know, Anakin is by the end of ROTJ. He is meant to fall into lava, which makes his skin look a lot older than what he may be..
mima kake
And who knows maybe age is a total diffrent thing in that galaxy far far away... And maybe it should'nt be compaird with aging here here in real life. And it's george creation so he can come up with any explenation he might like. Sivy
44 is about right, give or take a few years, he looks older because his disfigurement and been stuck in that costume for 20ish years, Anakin's timeline (quoted from Jedinet) EP I - 9 Ep II - 19 Ep III - 21 Ep IV- 41 Ep V- 44 Ep VI-
Breton
What bothers me most, is Obi-Wan. He is 25 in TPM, 35 in AOTC, 37 in ep3, so he should really be 55 in ANH, wich is strange, since he looks like a 70-year old
Reb Starblazer
Well, Alec Guiness was 63 when Star Wars was made, so he was indeed older than Obi-Wan should be. But that doesn't diminish his performance any:D Some people age differently, some appear older than they actually are, while some appear younger. Hell, one example of someone appearing older than they are is right in front of you... Kyle Katarn. All I ever hear about is "Kyle's too old", "Kill Kyle off for the next game, he's an old fart". Really now, Kyle Katarn is what, 36, 37 at most! Yet, to many people he appears older than that. So Obi-Wan just looks older than he actually is, that's what 20 years of Tattooine suns will do to you:D
Sivy
Yeah that’s true, people in constant contact with the sun, or suns in the case of tatooine, do age quicker as the heat takes moisture away from the skin making it wrinkle, like dehydrated fruit and also the sand would be very coarse on the skin too, what obi-wan needed was a good moisturiser now i must go and beat someone up, have a beer and watch the football.
