To answer your quesiton, Stromtroop, when you learn how to play, and you have been playing a while, and can play smooth melodies and licks, you'll have much fun.

As for the beatles, I can't play any of their stuff, and I only liked a few of their songs(sorry!). I mainly play things like Pink Floyd,Journey, Boston, Yes, Guess Who, CCR, etc.

Mima kake both plays the bass.(whe are 2 peeps in case you did'nt know))

One of us(MI KA) is a pro and teaches music and plays weeklys with his band.

The other part of mima (MA KE) just plays at jam sessions from timeto time.

And I (MA KE) Got a gig comming up in 3 months got to play 15 tunes for a audience of 800+ peeps.

But to be short I can't live without Music and we are both hooked on the bass-guitar :D

I've only played in front of people twice. Man it's fun. As for Wes, the cost depends on what you buy, some can cost alot but if you're just starting out then you could find a cheap one. They can take a lot of time to learn or not, it depends on how much you play and practice. Acoustic is harder to learn than electric but it's more fun to play acoustic I think.:)

Well, I play Guitar and Bass. I have a Yamaha RGX-110 electric guitar(bought it and an amp off my cousin for 200), an old Yamaha acoustic that my uncle gave me, and a Bass I got off one of my friends for cheap. I play a lot of different stuff, use the acoustic for the more mellow music, and the electric for the harder stuff. The bass is mostly just for fun, but I get together with my friends sometimes, I play bass, and they play guitar.
