bongojim
I noticed in the EMI trivia page that you said that Guybrush must have been playing Day of the Tentacle when he said "Try to take over the Caribbean". Isn't it actually a reference to Pinky and the Brain? Unless I am very much mistaken, before he says that he also says "what are you going to do tomorrow night?" and "the same thing we do everynight", which is what they say in Pinky and the Brain. Sorry if I am being pedantic, just thought I would point it out.
Junior™
Could be both I guess. I never really watched "Pinky and the Brain" but I know that the purple tentacle uses this sentence in the beginning of "Day of the Tentacle". But who knows? Maybe this is just a Pinky and the Brain reference aswell.
ThunderPeel2001
Doesn't he say: "I feel like I could... like I could... TAKE ON THE WORLD!" in DOTT? That's a little different from: "Try to take over the Caribbean." (if that's an exact quote -- I can't remember!) ~ John
Benny
Yes, when I played that bit I thought 'Ha pinky and the brain reference' rather than 'Ha DOTT reference'
scabb
I supposed DOTT came first (I think), although I agreee that the reference is more 'Pinky & Brain - ish'
Remi
Yeah, I got an e-mail about that, and I agree that it sounds more Pinky & The Brain-ish. I will update it some time today or tomorrow.
Yoghurt
But i think it was meant to refer to DOTT, since it's LucasArts related and all...
SeaWitch
Nope! You're wrong, Pink and The Brain it is! ...I guess.

Monkeysee
Like you guys, I assumed it was a Pinky and the Brain reference...mainly because he is talking to a rat or mouse (whatever's on the floor.) Either way it's pretty funny.
