they are not the most annoying team i just think you're hating on them cuz they keep winning.

 

shaq's presence in the post is just too much for everybody too handle. he's just strong and he's unstoppable. and having kobe thats double trouble. and i do hope some one beats them this year.

 

well i'm from NY but i hate the knicks.

 

i'm going for toronto. i like vince carter. but i'm a michael jordan fan since day one.

I can't stand them! I think Rick Fox is the biggest joke of a player I have ever seen. He talks trash, plays dirty, and can't play worth a damn.

 

Shaq is only good because of his size. He gets aways with more fouls in the post then anyone I have ever seen. He can't shoot. He talks trash about veterans that have done nothing to him, he makes fun of teams for no reason.

 

Kobe is the picture of a silver spoon raised brat. Thinks he is the best and acts like an @ss on the court. However the results of the lakers - Shaq show that Kobe's "give me the ball" attitude leaves the team in shambles.

 

Fisher is the biggest flopper in history of the sport.

 

Phil Jackson is so damn arrogant, even going so far as to say the the spurs didn't win a championship becasue that year didn't really count.

 

They got the league to hand them a win in game 6 versus the Kings last year. Look at the average fouls in a lakers game and then compare those numbers to number of fouls awarded the Lakers in the 4th quarter. Even the sports reports from ESPN said the the calls were a little more then just mistakes.

 

What is there to like about this annoying team? Maybe if you really like the color yellow......

So does NBA basketball since they started letting all the high schoolers in. The most retarded people on the planet getting paid millions to continue acting like they did in high school.

 

I only watch the NFL now, but it appears those days are starting to wane as well.

 

Pro sports has been too long all about the money and caring nothing for the game itself. Just look at the MLB if you need proof.

anakin what are u taking about. Tracy magraty(i spelt his name wrong, He is on the magic) was straight outta highschool and he is awesome. Kobe bryant, straight outta high school, is good too. There are alotta good high schoolers coming in. And there is no change that NBA basketball suck. It is way better than baseball.

 

Also i hate the lakers. GO SIXERS. ALLEN AIN'T GOT NOTHING ON HIM

I'm not refering to their skill at playing basketball. All of the high schoolers coming in are very talented, or they wouldn't be in the NBA. I'm just saying it's stupid, giving an uneducated 18 year old millions of dollars... that doesn't teach him about real life. That teaches him how to continue to try and be a "thug."

I have nothing against any race, but the way that african-americans have altered the NBA has defiled it forever. It's like street ball - there's hacking, name calling, trash talking, etc. And they're all more concerned with keeping up their image ("keeping it real") than they are with anything else.

 

Gone are the days when basketball had any class. I can get the same experience watching a pickup game across the street at the basketball court in the park as I can watching an NBA game.

actually thats what makes it funny and cool. And they are the ones who make up basketball. There ain't too many white basketball players who are good. The last white basketball player that i think was good was larry bird and that was a while ago. Now the list of black basketball players who are great go on and on. And he makes it more than just a game when they do that and i like that. Even when i out on the court i tend to do that. And i am in 7th and 8th grade basketball. Every1 would talk trash if something happened to u. There is never gonna be the end of fouls and we are human. W say stuff too when we get pissed. Whoa that was long

I couldn't agree more! I've been baseball fan forever and if they would have gone on strike......I don't think I would have ever returned. :( Sad thing, indeed......

Again, you've missed my point. I'm not talking about skill or race - anyone can talk trash and hack (hacking is BEYOND fouling... fouls are inevitable and part of the game; hacks are intentional, and i've seen more and more of them as the NBA degrades). And I say again - if I wanted to see people talking trash and hacking each other while they were playing the game, I'd go watch a streetball game in the park. I used to watch the NBA because it was a classy, well played game. Now it's degraded into glorified street ball.

And it's true that people do tend to talk trash when playing sports - however, I don't expect them to do it at the PROFESSIONAL level. These players are professional, and they should act that way. Instead they act like the did on the playgrounds, which is not what the NBA should be about.

I tell you, I'm tired of the greed, I'm tired of the me,me, me attitude that most seem to get. I haven't been to an Nba game in about 5 years (I live 45 minutes from a team). I will not support their greed. If things keep going the way it is in all of those pro sports, there won't be any fans around that can afford to go to the games.

 

Pro baseball made a step in the right direction by approving that luxury tax. It's a start and hopefully it will help those teams in smaller markets.

The MLBPA still has WAAAY too much power, though. Think about it : they're the only Player's Association that decides what type of drug tests they want to do. I also think they need some SERIOUS caps implemented. If the PA wants to strike, I say let them. I haven't watched baseball since the strike back in '94 (at least I think it was '94) because it was BS then... it's even more BS now. I say let them strike and bring up all the players from the minor leagues that are playing because they love the game. Don't let the regular players return until they agree to the caps and stuff. Little babies.

Street ball is awesome dude. Streetball players have alotta talent. They go awesome dunks and shots and "cuttin up ppl". I don't really care if they trash talk or not. Why should u. We just watch the game. And the trash talking is for like five secs then the refs break it up and they go back to playing. Then there is some after the game. If u really don't like trash talking, don't watch the postgame show.

 

And back to baseball. The world series this year was giants and angels!!!! What happened there. I don't like baseball all too much. Give me basketball and football ne day.

What happened there??? Are you kidding? It was one of the best world series' in years!!! 7 games, the angels down 3-2 in the series. Down 5 runs in the bottom of the seventh in game 6 and comeback and win that game to force game 7!! They win the final game and the series with great heroics by Tim Salmon, Garret Anderson, and the rest.

 

Oh man, you missed out then.......I figure like most ppl on the east coast you probably didn't care because it was a west coast series.

 

Hey, you like your sports I like mine......

 

I respect your opinions, even if I don't agree with everything. ;)

As you STILL haven't gotten my point, this will be my last post directed at you. I'm NOT talking about talent, so stop bringing it up. Streetball is fine. But I don't want to tune in to an NBA match and see streetball. It bothers me that they trash talk because it's not professional. The refs shouldn't have to break it up because it SHOULDN'T happen in the first place. And I don't watch the pre-game show. Hell, I don't watch the game anymore because it's STREETBALL, not professional basketball.

It also takes zero talent to dunk.

 

And Leemu, I'm surprised you still watch baseball. I can't stand it anymore. I just get annoyed whenever I see it.

I said post game show. They ain't really mad at each other at the beginning of the game. And u need the height to dunk. U don't need talent if u have height but allen iverson can dunk and he is like 6 foot or less. He don't have the height. And like i said, basketball players are human too. It is hard for them to hold back. If u tried to play and that stuff happened to u, after a few times u will trash talk too.

 

LAKERS LOST AGAINST THE SPURS!!!! YAY!!!
