Just saw Ep2 at IMAX!

I took my family on Saturday morning, and we surprised our kids (4.5 and 6 years old) because the IMAX we went to (Natick Massachusetts) was in a Jordan's Furniture store! We told them we had to go to a furniture store then there'd be a surprise for them.

As for my review - absolutely fantastic. You could feel the edits - I found it didn't make it feel 'tight', but rather a bit short. This is not a <120min movie, period. But the fact that they had the saber swings tied into the 'rumble seats' (or whatever they call them) was awesome.

I still can't wait for the DVD - we just picked up a nice home theater system (our Christmas present to each other).

Well, it may have been ten days when you posted that, Darth Kaan, but...

Four days left until the DVD is mine!

Really ?!? I have 6 days left until I will grab mine (11/12 in US, IIRC)

We just bought a new home theater system ... the old stuff we were using was stuff I bought with summer job money in college ... and to put that in context, back then I paid $300 for a single CD player, there were no DVD's, and you could still buy records in the record store ...

IMAX was awesome, but I still can't wait to say - let's repeat that scene ... and again ... and again ...

For us it was $10 for the adults, $8 for the kids - which I think is 12 and under where we went (ours are 4.5 and 6, so I wasn't too observent). Our nearest theater is the AT&T Broadband IMAX located in the Jordan's Furniture store in Natick, Mass.

I'm going to be in Ontario later this month, so hopefully I'll get to see it there.

A shame that anything had to be cut at all, since it's such a visual feast (can't wait to see it on the BIG BIG screen, heh).

But I've seen it twice in the theater, so my mind can fill in the details.

We got a new IMAX theater in my hometown a year ago, and I had a chance to the see Space Station 3-D (and a trailer for T-REX). If you EVER get a chance to see IMAX in 3D (with the ray-ban style glasses) definately go for it.. it's probably the coolest cinematic experience you can have, period!

The 3-D effect has really improved since the first time I remember viewing it with "Jaws." ; )

10$ for tickets is about what we paid. And even considering the feature was only 1 hour long (there were trailers and stuff beforehand of course), I think it was well worth it.
