Darth Talliusc
i have very literal dreams, sometimes ill dream a completely normal happening but something will strike me as wrong. like a rake in a branch of a tree instead of on the ground. then ill wake up and think about that, its always a weird experience for me. later that day ill recognize where i am from my dream and lo and behold ill see that blasted rake. its never anything important that i "sense" but its still quite disturbing. wish i could enhance this ability to see something that mattered instead of bloody rakes. About 5 1/2 years ago, (a couple of months before my eldest son was born), I was sitting in my living room late at night watching the TV (as you do), when suddenly the front door blew open. (I've got an open living room with the front door situated at one end.) Now, I wouldn't have thought much about it...except that I was pretty sure it was firmly closed to begin with, and when I went to close it, I didn't detect any wind. Anyway, I closed the door, switched the TV off and went to bed. A couple of nights later, I was sitting up late again (on my own), watching TV...and I heard a distinct sound from about six feet away, inside the living room. You know when someone gives an 'Oooh' of surprise, or something...well it sounded like that. A really short (but very audible) sound...but it didn't come from the TV, or the dog...and I certainly didn't make the sound myself. Sound also doesn't carry well from upstairs, so I discounted my wife who was sleeping. It sort of spooked me a bit, because I also had the feeling that I wasn't entirely alone. But I eventually discounted it as the ravings of a tired brain, and went to bed again. Anyway, to cut a long story short...I heard the same sound, late at night, on a few other occasions...and again, I had a feeling of being watched or something. Then suddenly it stopped, and I couldn't figure out why. Strangely enough, though, this coincided with my son being born. I've never heard the sound since then. Now I've thought about it a lot since then...and the only conclusion I've reached is that somehow my son's consciousness was floating around while he was still in the womb, and somehow exploring the outside world. Okay...you can send for the straight-jackets now. I'll come quietly. holy cow... that is one scary story!... ugh... should have left the lights on b4 i read the post.... Tyrion
oh yeah.... I usually watch shows before I go to sleep. And when I dream,if I payed enough attention to the shows, I dream of what happend in the shows..all combined. Then,of course, I get deja-vu every once and a while. As for the freaky thing. I was about 5. Me and my parents were coming home after dropping my brother off at college(We drive there,he doesnt get a plane ticket)in U.C. berkly. And I was in the desert. I looked at the sky,and I saw a yellowish thing, exactly like a comet. Except it made a perfect 45 degree turn and dissapeared.....it didnt look like a falling star either, since it didnt streak. And it was bigger. So, I think it was a UFO(unless someone can tell me a comet can do that in space).

There's more to the universe than just what you can see.....the chances of probobility actually say that there is other planets capable of life..and even then, creatures made out of hydrogen or mercery could be made..maybe in deep space or even in stars... Hell,we could find some chuthulu type creatures on another planet.. As for the god thing, I have more of a Anagontist than a Athesist view. Guest Jed
Sounds like you're sleepwalking. But it could be stupid aliens who abduct you, and then when they return you they put you in bed by accident StormHammer.....freaky story. I believe ya tho. I haven't really had freaky occurances, but I do have a story like Tyrion's.... I was outside taking my dog out, when I heard this unusual noise....sorta like a whooping noise. For some reason, my first instinct: look up. I did, and there was this really strange almost pentagon shaped thing way up in the sky....I watched it, and it was flying unusually fast, but then stopped and went in the exact opposite direction immediately, with no hesitation. And the orange lights that were on it....will never forget that shade of orange.
Guardian Omega
Okay, this happened when I was five........... I recently got into Star Wars, and being the foolish sterotypical 5 year old, I tried to do the Force. I tried something simple, like a can and it took me a while to clear all doubts (If I remember correctly, you have to be clear in mind to use the force.) And 30 minutes after the attempt, I could've sworn I heard the can rattle! I thought it was my grandma cooking, so I tried it again, and right after I lifted my hand, it rattled!! Now either those are two BIG coincidences, or there's something we don't know........

Rebel_Spy
I have some mystical stories... Sometime, when I was about 9, I was slepping and I was able to leave my body..yes indeed, I could see me sleeping in my bed!. Then I walk out and see thing into my own house and the outdoors. Finally I get back to body and awake. It was spooky, so I just go and check those things that I actually see when I was like floating in the air... and all those things were exactly in the same position. I tell this to my grannie, and she tell me that is quite possible and so much people have experienced this kind of things. But she warned me, never never let your body for a long amount of time, because if anyone trying to awake you, you will lost... What do you think about it? Guest Jed
Ah, I know what you're talking about. Man, I should look up my old What are your dreams about thread for you, it explains a lot about your type of dream. But to make things simple, it's lucid dreaming. I'll call in my resident expert.... look in this thread for an analysis.
