C'jais
Now, this idea just popped into my head, and I can assure you that it has nothing to do with the Matrix at all! Try and sit back for a minute... ...and imagine if Real Life was a gaming world. Think of how you always in every new game try to test it's physics and graphics? How you have fun with interacting with the NPC's? How realistic the ground looks? Now, imagine if you got dumped into the game known only as "Real Life" and tried these things.... wouldn't it wicked to find out that the physics in it far surpasses even the schweet karma models in UT2k3? How fun it is to "spawn" new NPC's? How damn realistic the grass looks? Hell, they've even managed to include neurons in people's muscles so their limbs move naturally! I can touch this table and actually feel the cracks in the wood!! YAY! I mean, why am I even trying to have fun in some sub-par game, running on a slow TNT-2 card, when my so-called "brain" in this wicked game can blast the GF-4 to bits!!! Just think of how wasted it actually is, that we're trying to have fun in some hyper-realistic graphics-engine in the-soon-to-be DooM 3, and then think of how fun it'd be to actually just walk around in Real Life and gorge yourself on its reality. I, for one, am going to step right out of this chair for a moment, and then play around with this coolio new game... ...call it a new-found joy of life, call it a one-way ticket to a mental institute - call it whatever you like..... ... just don't interrupt me while I'm messing with this friggin' awesome physics engine. Skate Boy
The "Graphics" in real life might be better but can you jump 10 feet in the air like Kyle? Or can your move things by just waving your hand? I do think real life is more fun but so is the gaming world.
Dark Warrior
cjais that was really well said. I truly believe that people dont value life at all and vidoegames are their life. Its true, we cant jump 10 feet in the air but we can do many things in life that we cant do in video games. I agree, videogames are fun and enjoyable but dont make them your life, make them a pasttime. Life is a great game and its cool how u dont know whats coming next and unlike an rpg, it has unlimited possiblities. Again, well said cjais, I agree 100%
C'jais
Thanks Dark Warrior. I don't know I got the urge to write that stuff suddenly, but I had some thoughts about how people percieve themselves in a virtual environment and often forget to look at "the great master": Life itself. As K-Star once said - you can actually feel more real in the virtual world than in the "real world".
Tyrion
Yeah, but. In real life.. 1. There's no respawn feature So most of the great stuff in life you can only do once.

But yeah, it s*cks it's a round based kinda gameplay, where the goal is eliminating the other dudes, staying alive for as long as possible and fulfilling some greater objective..... darn! Yes, but once you've done that, the spawn will be created in your image and they can secure your place and immortality on the Great Highscore Hall of Fame.... Hey, it's sort of like Black & White! I'm sure I'd appreciate real life a little more if I could pull of some force tricks When that can of coke is just out of reach.... 'Force "make thingy come here''' hits the spot
