Tyler_Durden
I have been wanting to do this for a while now so i can rip star wars sounds and pak em together for a release, especially now since aotc was released. I ripped some sounds from .avi's and .asf's but the sound quality is not up to dvd standards. Unfortunately, i have no skills when it comes to hooking up outside appliances to PC's so i was hoping someone could give me a hand. acdcfanbill
well, u could go from the RCA jacks out of the back of the DVD player and use a converter to convert it down to 1/8 in stereo plug and plug that in, unless you have a fancy dancy sound card
BCanr2d2
I have both a DVD-ROM as well as digital input into my sound card, the wonderful Gametheatre XP (now up to 7.1, which is a THX certified standard no doubt just for cinemas)...... But if for sound, there should be a line in on the sound card, don't use microphone, as it records in mono. An RCA to 3.5mm cable should do the trick anyway.....
