Instead, download this demo from Worldofmi.com. It’s non-playable, and with no music, but gives a really good idea of the game play and graphics. Worth it if you’re thinking of buying the game, or for curious fans. As far as I know this is the only Monkey Island 2 demo you can get. Edit: seems like I spent a bit too long writing that post.

Unfortunately, I've been very very busy with university lately, but I promise to make a big update sometime in the near(?) future. P.S.- I'm glad you like the site.
