Lord Helmet
And what college would that be?
Gaalgoth
Georgia College and State University. It's Georgia's main liberal arts college...kinda small but it's getting all kinds of money and what not. also it's really bad ass......the req's are kinda low, and I could have probably gotten in to a better college like vanderbilt or whatever, but hell, this is my undergrad and with the Hope scholarship I have I only need to pay for room and board for georgia colleges. Murashu
Good deal, I spent 1 year in college and decided I wasnt meant to continue. I sure wish I had finished college, but I am also glad I joined the Army.

Gaalgoth
Ascari.....I'll just ignore that one. and Thew, I'm actually not sure what I want to do with my life. the good thing about a liberal arts education is that they expose you to everything and you can try everything, ie working witht he radio and not major in mass communications. As it is I'm interested in sociology, theatre, criminal justice and mass communications.

Zendjir
However, the Dutch education system is highly regarded in the world, so no problem there. I'm thinking of going to university after the school that I'm doing now (HBO; Management, economics and law). I might study international organisations at the university of Groningen. Oh, groningen is a great place to party BTW :clap2: I don't know what I'll do after my studies and a world-journey; maybe something good for the African countries (on a business level). ......Maybe
Gaalgoth
Well, liberal arts isn't the same as an arts school....liberal arts is more like journalism and stuff like that, they focus on a general all-encompassing approach to education so that you can experiment and find what you like, with education the goal rather than training. training is what grad school is for. Jan Gaarni
Same system in Norway, only the age is different: Basic School 7 years (mandatory): 6-13 High School 3 years (mandatory): 13-16 Proffesion Industrial/Academic/Commercial School 2-3/3/3 respectfully (not mandatory, and the case that it isn't minimum for 3 years in the Industrial School system anymore is stupid if you ask me): 16-18/19 After that, it's either taking a job as an apprentice, or some more years educating yourself even more, or University.
