[RAA]-=Chi3f=-
1. Open it in a paint program like Corel or Adobe. 2. Make the clear part a solid color. I use green. 3. Save as transparent gif and tell it to use that color as the clear color. EDIT: If you save that image and open it on your computer, notice how the backgroung is purple. Neat! DiRtY $oUtH™
No..like lets say that the picture I posted above had a background...how would I make that background transparent?
Sivy
it's really simple in gif movie gear, there's a little icon with a water dropper on it. and you just pick the color you want to be transperant

Crop the image and seperate the background from the image. 2. Change the background to a color (like purple) 3. Save as a transparent gif.
Hekx
There's an option in PhotoShop to save as transparent, but to be honest, I don't like PS7 I like PhotoStudio and Paint Shop Pro
DiRtY $oUtH™
OK...I'm still lost. Can somebody explain how to do it with Paintshop Pro?
Hekx
No.. because I haven't been able to do it with Paint Shop Pro, hehe. You can copy images, cut away the background, and shove it on a new background quite easily. It just likes making the background white instead though
