As some of you may remember, I posted a thread about RPG game I should go get. Well, I went and got Morrowind. I got it thursday, and I've been playing since I got it.

Just wanted to thank you guys for recommending it. I highly recommend the game, to every1 who thinks about getting it. Dont think about getting it, just go and get the fre***n game.

The world that youre playing in, is simply overwhelming[sp?]. I havent even seen the whole world yet. Its more like I've seen 1/10 of it :D!! Its prolly the best RPG game, I've ever played.

Thx again you guys!!

I would love to agree with you. But theirs a slight problem...

No Internet! nor Lan! so i felt sad, and quit once i got really high. it wasnt fun anymore, single-players just arnt as fun as co-oping and duelling with my friends.

Well, that depends on what you like. For me Multiplayer isnt that important. IMO its good that there arent any multiplayer in the game.

I think that Single player can be just as fun as single player can. Well, thats just my oppinion.

Any other thoughts??

I'm thinking about getting the game. *runs away from clemme*. The game looks quite good, from what I have seen. Does it have alot of replay value? And from what youn have been saying the game is quite big. I have been looking for a good rpg for quite some time. I will probably rent it first though just to make sure.:)

That wont be necessary. The game has alot of replay value imo. Some of the ppl that I know who play this game, say that theres more than 500 hours of gameplay, just the first time (With the Tribunal expansion).

Look at it this way, you can design your own character races. Their specialties[sp?], major skills, minor skills and misc skills. You have 10 races 2 choose from, each race with several faces, both sex and other things.

You have and endless stream of quests that you need to complete. One of my friends had a journal that was a place between 250 and 350 pages (And that wasnt all the quests). You can join as many factions as you want (Each with thier own ranks, quests etc.). Eg. Fighters Guild, Mages Guild, Imperial Legion, Thieves Guild, Blades and more.

I havent regreted buying it yet, and I prolly wont either.

I would go buy it if I were you.

500 hours????????? Yea, I think I will get this game, I have heard great things about it. And from your description, the game sounds amazing. And I like the customizability in Morrowind. Being able to create your own character the way you want him/her to be is very cool imo. Thanks for the review Clemme, a soon as I have a bit more cash I'll buy it.:)

Well, if you go straight for the main quest, it's not even close to 500 hours. I can't remember exactly how long the main quest is, but somewhere around 60 hours is a fair guess.

But of course, with all the side quests, the game is nearly endless. I haven't played in a while though. I became Guildmaster of the Fighter's Guild, and then basically stopped playing. Became a little tired of it, actually.

Is there a main quest?! :eyeraise:

Well, that would be the easy way to complete the game then. I've only played for like a day or 2, and havent even seen half of the world yet. I'm still puzzling with the small quests..!

Well, I didnt kno there was a main quest. Doesnt matter anyways. I love the game whether it takes 60 hours or 500 hours to complete!

I agree with DarkSaber, cause a single player game can only go so far, Cause what fun is it to fight people with only one person (yourself) that has non-computer inteligence (spelling?).

I absolutely love Morrowind.....my character is a super bad ***. My sword allows me to cast a spell that does 20 points of frost damage for 10 seconds in a 25 foot area......and my sword is an ebony longsword and it does 40 points of frost damage with each strike :D

I am currently the master thief of the thieves guild and right now i'm working my way up the Morag Tong....

I actually love this game!!!:)

I play around 2 hours a day on it.

My character is on level three and progreesing slowly.

I am a battle mage and it is easy to cast spells and conjure weapons. So far I really like it despite of my disliking of it in the past. Sorry to Tie 23. ( i play it as much as him)

Sure there's a main quest. I won't spoil it for you though. You know that letter you have to deliver to Balmora right at the beginnng of the game? That's the guy who will start you out with the main quest.

After you finish it, you're still on the island, and can continue playing of course. Do all the side-quests and such.

I played about 200 hours worth of Morrowind and completed all the side quests, and became the head of all the factions. But then my saved game went all weird and wouldnt let me play. I never got to do the main quest......actually I never went back to Morrowind I was so gutted.......thats a tip for you with an RPG or any other long game.......BACKUP your saved game!!!!

what im getting to is, rpg's are so much more fun when you can show off your hard work, or play with your friends defeating huge enmies. doing quest together finding stuff together, sharing your items. thats all taken away from single-player games.

my opinion! :D

anyways have fun.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I finally moved some files to my other drive and freed up a little of 3 gigs of space on my C drive. I also have about 2 - 3 more gigs of space I can free too later.

I got Morrowind for the XBox. It plays really awesome. Good long game that never ends. Its definitly sweet.
