Sarah
I thought I'd abuse LucasForums to ask around if anyone used the Nintendo site to get an Animal Crossing item for Christmas. I totally forgot to, and now I want to know what it was! Anyone? Bueller? ... Anyone?
mercatfat
There were no presents besides Nintendo officially releasing the universal code for the Starman. Don't be such a greedy girl, you know money is tight right now for us and one NES game was all we could afford for you this year.
Jake
I like Animal Crossing.
elTee
Shut up. The people who decide where this is released obviously don't like us Europeans. I have to get a copy from Australia, or buy freeloader (if it ever appears) and play an American copy. Dammit.
sheaday6
what a sad story
C Shutt
You can't get it in Australia either.
mercatfat
Yeah, didn't you know? Languages and cultures are a bitch. Americans share a lot of holidays with Japan, mostly ones they stole, so it all works out great. Things like Guy Fawkes day are hard to program in tastefully. Sarah
Haw haw, I have Animal Crossing, nyeh nyeh. Now I don't feel so bad for not getting anything for (Animal Crossing) Christmas. I have 7ish NES games as it is, so I might have ended up with a duplicate.
mercatfat
Hey Sarah, I want Excitebike. Let's trade. I'll tell you how to get Wario's Woods and Baseball if you're too lazy to look it up yourself. Name: Kevin Town: [blank space]Seattle Remember the blank space in front of Seattle. Sarah
Can you order Nintendo games from your catalog? i.e. if I send you Excitebike will I be able to buy a new one? I'm too lazy to turn on my gamecube and check.
mercatfat
Yes, they're 3000 bells each, I believe.* *Common games like Excitebike only
Sarah
Oh, well since I'm the richest bastard in my town, as long as I can get a new one I'm cool with trading. I'll get right on that... just as soon as I sober up ... um maybe tomorrow.
Jake
Merc here's the secret excitebike code from Sarah: bBmF3AGSAy7xSRBXckFgLVGGwbYN Also she's telling me on el phone that she hasn't got every tradeable game so if you want to trade back one that happens to be Tennis, Golf, or Pinball (or all three ¬), that would be cool. Name: Sarah Town: wscbhjl <-- thats a lowercase L at the end
mercatfat
Golf and Pinball ahoy. I just need to take my GC back from my housemate's room and I'll generate some codes.
elTee
I can buy this now. Freeloader has launched, so I can buy it on import. So why aren't I going to? MY MANKY TV DOESN'T SUPPORT NTSC. So leave me alone.
mercatfat
The code didn't work and I didn't get a City error, so perhaps you switched the name and city? It's easy to do. Pinball: eZDb6dhuvgus8S <- That S may be a 5 YqW@#GpB5rt%MA Golf: gs2adn9BBTM8oY gBXe2argsQjMZg That's mysterious that you gave me the code and not Sarah herself.
