How do you pick your party members?

I personally think he's speculating, but from reading his bio, you can be almost 100% certain that you have to convince him to be a Jedi again... I mean, it seems that he's the typical bitter Jedi Master (mayhaps the previous master of Malak?) who has to be convinced to undergo one last trial/adventure...

Either that, or Eets knows more than he's letting on...

The lost 20 are the only twenty Jedi Masters who have left the Jedi Order willingly. There was originally a scene in which Obi-Wan spoke of this with Jocasta Nu (the librian at the Jedi Archives), and mentioned that Dooku was apparently one of them. I'm not sure, but there might've been something left of this in the AotC Novelization.

As for the other 19, I don't believe there's a list of who they are... possibly Ulic Qel-Droma and perhaps Jolee Bindo... but seeing as how Bindo will possibly return, I don't think he's part of the list.

You can probably try to play through with one character if you want, but gameplay is intended to be party-based. As you proceed, you'll encounter a number of NPCs that can join you. They include various races and droids, although we only saw two humans and a droid assassin. NPCs will have selectable behavior scripts, and each will have its own quests, interactions and vocal interjections. It was re-confirmed that romances will be possible. All of them can travel with you in your space vessel, the Ebon Hawk, which serves as a kind of mobile home base in your interplanetary travel. You can pick your companions for each mission, and can rotate through them in terms of choosing which one you control directly at any given moment. The party system is a bit unusual in that even though you have a main character, the entire party has to be killed before a reload is necessary

Jolee is a Jedi in denial.

He probably had some sort of traumatic circumstance that made him leave behind the traditional Jedi ways. Clearly, he's going through some sort of denial in his trying to convince the PC that he's not really a Jedi.

Read the conversation in the latest screenshot with him in it.

Yeah, that would be mad fun.

They may also have some sort of setup like NWN, where you can buy mercenaries to help you.

In one of the chats(or on the Bioware forums) they said you'd be able to buy droids to fight with you. If you have the credits that is. :D

Ooooh, I wanna buy that sweet assassin droid right away... perhaps not 100% Jedi-Like, but he looks like a fun character.

[Edit: Och, this is the first time that I noticed that I'm a pit droid instead of Bantha Fodder... when did this happen?]

I like the sound of being able to purchase things such as droids. Just adds another element of realism to the game. :)

Burrie-Hey, it happens when you increase your post count by 50. So when you get to 100 you'll have a different rank. If/when you get to 1.000 posts, you can customize your title to whatever you want.* If you happen to be chosen as a mod/admin before 1.000 posts, you can select your title as well. ;)

*-Within reason. :)
