Hey ,

 

I was wondering ... do you now those animated gifs that many monkey island sites have ? like the wally hanging on the scummbar , well are these avalibe on scummrev or is there anthers way ? thanks

 

also howcome the only images i can seem to fuind on scummrev are RMIMs and there all just the backgrounds

 

this is mi 1 and 2 btw

If you want to rip character animations for the earlier games use costume ripper any problems with it, use the dos version rather than the dx versions.

Images are usually dumped to your mydocuments folder.

Or you could take plenty of screendumps, crop them down, colour in the backgrounds and then stick them in an animated gif program. If you don't know how to do that, try using a digital camera to take photographs of the characters moving on the PC screen, and do the same to them.

Indeed, costume ripper was used to make my avatar, you can rip the whole costume 'table' in costripper which is the whole animation or just individual images.

ScummRev 2 is more functional than Scumm Rev 3, so make sure you try both (not sure about costumes).
