I couldn't really play the Japanese version because I don't understand that much Japanese, but I got another version from somewhere that was translated. Very cool game, and I recommend picking it up if you can.

I rented SSBM yesterday and usually I always play as Link but today I tried Marth and he's wicked! And I've always wanted to try Fire Emblem so now I'm becoming a small fan, well I guess in a way.

I think that u`re wrong, i have SSBM, i play this game every day since november, and i became a really good payer, and i have to tell you, Roy is as good as Marth. Marth is faster, but his blows are weaker than Roy´s. If you have more tha 50% and Roy smash you, u`re dead. Also, Roy is heavier than Marth, so it will cost u more to throw him out. I think that if u learn to use Roy, is a better character than Marth...I use him, and nobody can beat me:D...i must admit..i use a lot of camping with Roy`s "super attack" (hold b......) It`s all about practice... Salu2 PS: About Fire Emblem, i think there`s a game ready to came out with Roy as its main character.

Darth Talliusc Posted February 16, 2003 Posted February 16, 2003 i also want to play fire emblem games. simply because ive owned SSMB since the day it came out and still play it alot. and yes ive unlocked everything (i dont keep track of trophies they dont count, i just mean levels and characters). i guess you could say im hardcore at SSMB. all the target tests, all the difficulties in all the SP modes. still working on beating my record in cruel melee. its like 9 or something. anywho. as for roy and marth: depends on the game mode. if you're doing team game then roy is a must, if its 1v1 id prefer marth. but really i dont use either if im playing competitively. young link and falco are the absolute best characters in that game. they are just too damn good.

Sam Posted February 17, 2003 Posted February 17, 2003 I was wondering what game those two were from. I like Roy Better than Marth because his attacks are stronger but I have to admit Marth is way faster.
