Anyone know where to get a 3d program like 3d max studio or whatever? I have an OLD OLD 3d program that only takes in 3d models, you can't move them by seperate parts.

However, I took a space background, added a ship model (no texture though), added a lense flare for a star, added green lines and added glow around them, and I came out with this.

If I can do that with a simple crappy program, well, I want to see what I could do with a good one

Here it is with img tags...

or maybe a bit closer?

Let me guess: It was the lens flare that messed up the colors? You might want to just take out the lens flare. Plus lens flares don't look all that right in space.

And if you maybe make the lasers smaller, and all in proportion to each other (the x-wing's lasers seem really big compared to the star destroyer's). And add some bright white in the center of the laser and brighten the edges a little so they look more authentic.

Other than that its awesome! :D

Heh...no x-wing is firing...in fact, there arn't even any x-wings in the pic ;) The ones with the Y-Wing are actually called..uh...Hunters or something.

The A-Wing is firing. Bigger laser because it's closer to the "camera". The star destroyer shots are very far away, so they appear smaller.

I'll try that thingy thing with the lasers, and I'll probably take out the lense flare. Wish there was a way to keep the bright part but leave out the "effect circles". Is there a way?

btw...I used small lense flares for the engine "fire", hehe.
