Weapon X Posted March 20, 2003 Posted March 20, 2003 for those who have seen it, do you guys get angry when you watch Black Hawk Down? i do. i get REALLY angry and in the mood to go fight someone, i don't know why, and when i listen to the soundtrack, tracks 11 and 13 especially, i get depressed, i think i get depressed because those tracks are playing when there's death in the movie...and i have friends over in kuwait right now and i remember having fun with them and am afraid of them dying. cuz i want them to come back and then we could go have some more fun. and i think i get angry cuz it's american soldiers dying and they were really young and died for a stupid reason, something we should have had no part in. anyway, what do you guys feel when you watch it? or listen to the soundtrack?
wassup Posted March 20, 2003 Posted March 20, 2003 I think its a great movie...and um...I feel fine...maybe a little sad cause so many Americans died...but not that sad cause I dont know anyone in the military fighting in Iraq right now.

obi Posted March 20, 2003 Posted March 20, 2003 It's a war movie, people die in war movies. I was pissed when Hanks died in Saving Private Ryan. Anyway, if you don't want to see soldiers dieing, then don't rent a watch a war movie, because you are sort of setting yourself up to see soldiers die. No need to get angry over a movie.
XERXES Posted March 20, 2003 Posted March 20, 2003 yes i was... when the downed pilot (forgot his name) was isolated and those two guys tried to rescue him...and they were all killed and the pilot was captured... i was beyond pissed about that...sorry for forgetting all their names tho.

Shugart or Gordon were the names of the l33t snipers. In fact, a Dane played one of those (forgot which one). It's a good war movie. I'm sure we're all hoping your friends get back intact.
