jedi3112 Posted April 14, 2003 Posted April 14, 2003 I think I'll go heavy. I think there's a fix point (prob exp) where you become a jedi. Anyway a jedi can wear armor, except some force powers won't work (force armor/lightning) when wearing armor. I hardly have any information about the classes but I think I'll be a jedi guardian. The force jump might be quite usefull to close in. I must know the armor stat anyway to decide, how much protection gives heavy armor and how much speed does it reduce. My lightsaber skills most likely won't deflect all the blastershots fired at me so when I get hit I'd better reduce the damage as much as possible. Hope there's armor that lookes like clone trooper armor. I love to see those clones all dressed up
Darklighter Posted April 15, 2003 Posted April 15, 2003 Light armour: Speed always prevails over strength;)
covenant_bad Posted April 16, 2003 Posted April 16, 2003 will people with have armor suffer an encumburance ''role'' when being in a battle alla BG? And will people with light armor be able to force jump higher? so many questions.....such a long wait!
Hannibal Posted April 16, 2003 Posted April 16, 2003 Originally posted by covenant_bad And will people with light armor be able to force jump higher? Consulars are the only jedi with force jump. I believe it's Consulars.
StormHammer Posted April 17, 2003 Posted April 17, 2003 I'll probably go for 'Medium', and then change it if need be.
jedi3112 Posted April 17, 2003 Posted April 17, 2003 It's the jedi guardian who's the only 1 to force jump http://www.lucasarts.com/products/swkotor/G_feats.html
Toa Tahu Posted April 18, 2003 Author Posted April 18, 2003 Yep,it's the: Jedi Guardians:More like the Warrior of the Jedi's.He has all Jedi combat skills. Jedi Consular:More of the wizard. He has the most of the Jedi lore and has more of the 'force' powers like Absorb and Heal (probably) for Light side and others. Jedi Sentinel:A middle between the both of them but no Force Jump.
Tyrion Posted April 20, 2003 Posted April 20, 2003 I'd rather take the harder path, and go unarmored all the way till I am a jedi, but then I'll still be unarmored and jump around like Yoda.
Dalti Evful Posted April 20, 2003 Posted April 20, 2003 I will probably use heavy armor at first then when I become a student at the sith acadamy I will most likely wear some armor like Lord Bandons which is most likely medium or light. However once I get force lightning I will not be able to wear armor but I guess thats the price you have to pay to fry Jedi. "Hes no good to me dead"
